Andrew screamed "she's crazy! Well, their goes your chance of ever having a girlfriend," he sighed. Her eyes reflected pools of hatred while she bared her teeth at me and growled. "Where is our stuff, Jack?" "what?" I asked trying to contain the pounding in my chest. I inhaled lungful of her impeccable honey scent. She pressed the metal blade closer to my throat. "Where. Is. Our. Stuff! I'm not repeating it again Jack!" she yelled. I wriggled trying to move but she had my legs pinned down with her knees. I didn't dare trying to move my arms in fear of her slicing my throat, so I looked to my only chance. My only hope. Andrew. I'm dead. But, surprisingly, he was already on it.

Her weight lifted from my body as Andrew tackled her to the side. I heard the metal blade clatter to the ground as I stuttered to my feet. I clasped hold to my neck then watched as Andrew wrestled her until he completely had her pin to the carpeted floors. She grunted then blew a gust of air moving strands of her dark hair from her face. "Chill out crazy girl!" Andrew demanded. She squirmed under him trying to break loose but once she seen it was pointless,  finally gave up.

I looked at the knife then removed it from her vicinity, with my foot. "Who is Jack," I asked. My heart rate was gradually declining, retreating to it's natural speed. Her head snapped towards me then she glared "stop trying to lie! You know who you are! Do you think I'm stupid? Just because you dyed your hair you think I can't recognize you?" Andrew face reflected the same puzzlement. "Listen crazy lady-" "stop calling me crazy!" she interrupted. "Whatever. You proven you are. Walking up in here smiling, then BOOM. Pounce on my friend here. If you weren't interested all you had to say was-" "shut up," she yelled. Andrew rolled his eyes obviously getting bored. "Whoever this Mack-" "Jack," she and I said in unison. She glared at me in hatred obviously upset I remembered my alleged "name". "Whatever... Whoever he is... My friend isn't him. His name is Dakota and he is totally in to the crazy chicks like you," Andrew winked.

This is serious and he is still joking? I swear once we get her out, I'm going to beat him up.  "Dakota?" she whispered. "Yeah!" Andrew grinned. "Not Jack," he smiled.

Part of me felt I should say something but Andrew was coaxing her into believing the truth. Whoever this Jack is... I'm extremely happy I'm not him. Then part of me was wondering, what did he do? I mean to make her this upset must call for something extreme.... what she said I did again?

Then her eyes snapped back to mine. She analyzed my face for a good minute or so then her eyes bulged. Her face reflected embarrassment, her lips wavered as she tried and formed a sentence. "I-I.. Please get off of me," she whispered. Andrew hesitated but slowly got up. He pointed his finger then walked to my side "watch it. Next time, I will swing on you," Andrew said. I hit his arm and he looked at me resentfully "hey! I'm trying to help you," he whispered loudly. "She's a girl!" I whispered back. The girl slowly raised to her feet then held her bottom lip with her teeth. She shot me an apologetic look then ran her small fingers through her hair. "Uh- I'm really sorry... It-its just you looked so familiar. Dakota? Isn't it?" she asked while taking a step forward. Andrew backed up but I held my ground.

That same gut feeling that drew me to Andrew pulled me towards her. It was like a magnetic force... A strong feeling that wielded me towards her. Made me want to know her. Not because she drop dead gorgeous (isn't weird that I still like her), but a feeling in my gut. But, hey my gut could be wrong.

She gulped then started walking towards the door, but I caught her arm. It was soft. Like a- no stay focused! I scowled myself. She gazed at me for a moment then dropped her stare. "What's your name?" I asked her while releasing my grip. She snatched back her arm then looked between Andrew and I. "Brooklyn," she responded. Brooklyn. "Mmmm nah you don't look like a Brooklyn. You look like a Brooke, yeah I'm going to call you Brooke," Andrew said. Brooklyn rolled her eyes then nod towards me "Dakota and not Jack?" I nodded my head. "Dakota Richmond. Not...uh Jack... Umm I don't know If I'm being to forward but, you want to stay for dinner?" I asked. Andrew grabbed my shoulders and shot his cold stare into mine. "What! NO, what if she shoves are only glob of spinach down your throat! Or worse, get-" Andrew wiped a fake tear from his face "she could eat it! Or yeah.... try to kill you again!" I pushed Andrew off of me and straightened my shirt. "Man, stop," I grumbled. I heard a light chuckle and looked back towards Brooklyn.
