I opened my eyes, the cold wind freezing my soaking wet body. I stood up, my blond hair dripping wet. I shivered as I slowly walked away from the pond I had just crawled out of. I kicked a few pebbles here and there, but other than that, nothing really stood in my way. I looked down at my feet, and instead of my normal sneakers, I was wearing.... boots? Ok. Strange. I continued walking, finally reaching what I believed to be civilization.
Everything looked rather familiar, but not what I was used to. The path I was following was made completely out of stone, and patterns were painted on every building. Flower beds decorated the outside of shops and just buildings in general. A happy tune was playing in the background, that was fairly strange.
I entered a shop, a fairly small shop. There was a mirror on one of the walls, and my reflection shocked me. I shared a shocking resemblance to... Link? Link was the main protagonist is my favourite video game series, Legend Of Zelda. I had Link's costume on, but... my eyes... a thick bloody stream rolled down my cheeks and my sockets were emptiness. I was silent in fear. The store clerk cowered in fear.
"Why aren't you helping me?!" I asked him, my voice glitching mid sentence. He just stayed in his position, not saying a word. "Do something!" He didn't budge. My eye twitched. I shuffled over to him, my wet outfit leaving a trail of water on the floor.
I leaned close to the clerk, smiling evilly.
"You've met with a terrible fate haven't you?" Something snapped, and the man began gasping for air, me watching in entertainment the whole time. Another song began to fill the room. It sounded alot like the song of healing but... backwords?
