That night, you looked up at the tent ceiling. You, a regular human being,  camping in a field in the middle of an apocalypse. Some gentle rustling could be heard outside of the tent and you were a bit surprised to see Uzume.
"Sorry if I woke you up, though if you're feeling up to it I woudn't mind if you followed me," She said, smiling a little. You got to your feet and walked behind the redhead.
"I don't get you, y'know? I tell you to stay out of the way, yet you keep getting close to me. I don't...want you to get hurt on my watch," She said.
"But...I know you're not doing it because you're stupid. You're doing it for another reason, right?" She then stopped and faced you, putting her hands on your shoulders.
"It may seem like I don't trust you in dangerous situations, but really...I just want you to be safe."
You nodded.
"But I want you to be safe too."
Uzume blushed a little at your words, turning back around and walking forwards.
"You're kind of a dork, y'know? But then again, I kinda am too."
You and Uzume went on a walk and returned when the moon was the highest in the sky. The two of you sat next to your tent, watching the stars sparkle.
"Do you get views like this where you live? I never really have the time to look up at beautiful skies with all the excitement going on," Uzume said, smiling.
"I bet I did this all the time back when this city was peaceful," She said a bit quieter. You put a hand over hers.
"Somehow, we can try and get rid of that monster and you can stare at that sky all you want."
Uzume nodded, leaning against your shoulder.
"Yeah. We'll tackle that behemoth someday soon, and send you back home too..." She said, standing up.
"We should get some sleep, we're gonna need our strength for tomorrow. G'night!" Uzume said, leaving. That's right, you don't belong here. This is her world, a world that an awkward human being wouldn't feel comfortable in. As you laid in your tent, you decided to savor every last moment with Uzume.

After a lot of hiking through the forest, Uzume, Neptune, and yourself came across a group of the jelly-looking creatures from before.
"Oh, I almost forgot. These are Dogoos, one of the few species of monsters that I'm close with," She said, smiling.
"Miss Uzume, we found a big one!" One of the Dogoos said. You traced where the Dogoo was referring to with your eyes, seeing a large crystalline structure. Uzume grinned.
"With a Share Crystal this big, combined with the others we've collected, we can totally enact the plan!" She said happily.
"Whoo hoo! Proud of ya, Uzume!" Neptune said, applauding with a smile.

"Looks like I better intervene after all."

The group turned to the source of the voice, a small girl with messy blonde hair with dark wings and sitting on a book.
"Crostie, perfect timing!" Neptune said.
"If you think you can put me into that damn book again, you're wrong. And it's Croire by the way!" Croire yelled. She then smiled.
"Look, I can't have you guys getting rid of the Dark CPU, especially when Arfoire is away, so I guess I better stop you now."
Uzume and Neptune then jumped a little upon hearing a roar. The Dark CPU from before, Dark Purple, towered before them. Uzume looked at you.
"I know you want to help...and I know you care about me...but please get out of here and help the monsters escape. I can do this by myself.." Uzume said. Neptune looked at the two, then walked over to you.
"Hate to say it Uzume, but I think he should be with you instead of myself. I need to put Crostie back in the Nep Note anyways," Neptune said, winking at you and handing you one of her swords again.
"You guys better come back in one piece, m'kay?" Neptune said before rushing off to evacuate the monsters. Uzume was about to protest but she saw your face, and she started to grin wide.
"Okay...but you're going to have to promise me you'll survive," She said, giving you a hug. You couldn't help but blush, hugging back. Uzume then let go, blushing a bit herself.
"Alright, let's get this party started!"
