"Hey _____ can you come here for just a second, please." Said Ms. Blackwood, the principle, said in the politest way possible.
"Okay." You said with a raspy voice showing that you have been crying again. You slowly got out of the dark room that was your room in the school dorms. Your eyes had bags and where quite red.
"_____ you can't be like this for the rest of your life, it wasn't your fault." She said in a worried tone a mother would use, which she practically was to you.
"Yes it was we both know it." You said looking to the side. She sighed in defeat as your eyes seemed empty.
"Hey, your one of the kindest students there are in this school don't put your self down over one ensident, you know that wouldn't make them happy." In all honesty she was right they wouldn't be happy knowing how I was after what they did for me.
"Anyway, I came to tell you that you will be a chaperone for a group of people that will be attending this school next week." She said. You turned your head around with eyes in shock.
"What?!" You said in disbelief.
"It's just what I said you'll be in charge of a group of kids next week."
"Why me?" I said putting my head down.
"Because," she said grabbing your chin holding it up so you were looking at her, "your the only one I know with a heart to do it." She said as her eyes gave of a sparkling aura of blue. You began to calm down. That was her magic, the ability to ease pain of the heart and bend emotions.
"Alright, I'll do it." You said as you walked away towards your second quiet place, the library.
"How's he doing Mary." Said Milo, the teacher of Geometry, as he stocked his indigo hair that reached is back and was a bit curly.
"He still holds on the pain, it's like a curse put on him by Hades." She said before he left.
"_____, you changed so much."
