*Romeo's POV*
I wake up to hear someone crying, I sit up to rub my eyes and look at my big sister but she is still sleeping. Mommy tells me Juliet is an angel so that means she is because she is my bestest sister ever!! I smile then look down to see Daddy on the floor. He is leaning on the door and sitting down with his knees at his chest and his arms around him burying his head but I can hear him crying. I slowly climb out the bed and walk to him. I just watch him and he doesn't look up. I cuddle him because he is a little smaller than me when he sits down but near the same height. He sniffs and looks up at me. He smiles a little.
"Why are you crying Daddy??" I ask him. "I feel sad because you are sad" I want to cry.
"Don't be sad, you have nothing to be sad about" He cuddles me.
"Why are you sad?" I ask.
"Lots of sad things happening today, that's all" He cries again.
"But you said I make you happy..." I frown.
"You do, you always brighten up the house" he chuckles a little and lets me sit in his lap.
"That's because I never turn the light off" I joke and he laughs.
"Daddy's humour" He smiles and kisses my cheek. "You kids always reply that when I talk about you brightening up the house"
"Juliet is sleeping and I'm not tired anymore. I want to play" I tell him.
"Play what?" He asks.
"Airplanes" I cheer.
"Not here, it's a hospital, at home okay? Another game?" He sighs.
"Lots of things we love about Mommy, like what we play before when Mommy and Juliet went shopping" I smile.
"Romeo, me and Mommy had a little fight, you're too young to understand, not a fight like hitting, I would never hit Mommy. I mean a fight like arguing or disagreeing. Right now, I think it's best Mommy stays away for a little while until she says sorry. I need to say sorry too. But things need to fix with time" He tries to explain as he cries again.
"No..." I begin to cry because I'm scared. "I want Mommy! I need Mommy to tell me a story and cuddle me and...and...and..." I cry loudly and hug him.
"Romeo, Juliet is sleeping, quiet, it's okay..." He hugs me tightly. "Calm down"
"But Mommy..." I cry.
"I know, Baby, I know" He cries too. "Calm down...I'm sad too" He gives me little kisses.
"Can I call Mommy and tell her I love her?..." I ask.
"If she answers..." Daddy sighs and takes out his phone to call Mommy.
"Ross?" I hear Mommy is crying too.
"Mommy, can you say sorry to Daddy? He is crying and I'm sad too, and I want you" I cry as Daddy holds me.
"Daddy has every right to be mad at me. Tell him I'm sorry and that I love him. I love you and Juliet too. Romeo, don't be sad. Me and Daddy will hopefully fix things soon. But I might not see you for a while. I still love you...look after Daddy and Juliet, okay? We can always talk. Use Juliet's phone to message me. I love you all. Goodnight" Mommy tells me.
"Night Mommy. I love you too. Juliet as well. And Daddy loves you more and wants to give you kisses and cuddles" I tell her.
"Yeah...night" she says then hangs up.
"Mommy is sad too" I tell Daddy.
"Romeo, if you have a girlfriend one day and she kisses another boy, what will you do?" He asks me. I look at him confused.
