Things Are Okay Now

Courtney is halfway through her pregnancy now, the kids are excited but I think I'm buzzing more than them, haha. Juliet's fever thing went away and doctors think they found a cure or something. Romeo, well, he's just turned six years old and I took him flying the other day, it's cute how interested he is. A lot like me. I had to put him in a straight jacket and cuff him to the seat 'cause he wouldn't stop running to the window and smiling. I'm kidding, I didn't do that to my son. I'd never do that, but I had to keep telling him to stay seated. There's not much room for him to keep geting up and down. But he's a cute co-pilot. He listens well and does as he's told. Like father like son, eh? Courtney has been experiencing a lot of pain during her pregnancy so we had to cancel our trip plans to Colorado but we're gonna go there when the new Baby Lynch arrives. Juliet likes to take care of Courtney which gives them more of a bond also gives me and Romeo more father-son bonding time, of course I help to look after her too. We're becoming closing as a family.

"Ross, it hurts" Courtney whinces.

"Baby, stop hurting Mommy" I rub her stomach. "Do you want me to sing you a song?" I ask the developing fetus.

"Ross, if you sing, I will rip out your vocal chords" She groans.

"Ouch!" I say as that hurt a little, "and I thought you like it when I sing?"

"I'm daring you to sing, because you like dares and if you sing I will reward you by shoving my hand into your throat and ripping out the vocal chords" She states. Stupid pregnancy hormone, mood swings, nonsense!

"Fine, I wont sing to the baby, but don't complain that it hurts" I face away from her, a little annoyed and hurt.

"Sorry" she sighs. I ignore her. "You can sing..."

"Yay" I smile and lift up her top a little to kiss her stomach. "So Baby, what shall I sing you today?" I ask. I pause to think of a song. Court tangles her fingers in my hair and plays with it as I start to sing;

"Why do you build me up,
Buttercup baby,
Just to let me down,
And mess me around,
And then worst of all,
You never call baby,
When you say you will,
But I love you still,
I need you,
More than anyone darling,
You know that I have from the start,
Build me up, Buttercup,
don't break my heart" I sing.

"I like that song" Courtney smiles.

"I know you do" I smile. "I was thinking we should go shopping for baby stuff" I say.

"You can, I don't feel like it" She yawns.

"But I wanna go with you" I climb over her and kiss her lightly.

"Take Juliet, she'll go" Court tells me.

"You're coming" I say and pick her up making her playfully scream.

"Ross, put me down" She says.

"Only if you get dressed and come with me" I bribe.

"Okay" She groans. I smile and kiss her as I place her down.

"I can't wait for the baby" I tell her.

"I can't wait until I can go back to sleep" She replies.

"Alright, go to sleep, I'll go out with the kids to buy stuff" I tell her.
