"Happy Birthday!"

I said to the prettiest girl in the world. I handed her the bouquet of peonies, her favorite flowers. Her emerald eyes became filled with delight.

"I... I thought you forgot..."

She blinked back the tears that had started to form on her eyes. I touched her cheek, caressing it gently.

"How could I forget when you're the only one I think about all day?"

She blushed deeply her cheeks becoming a certain shade of pink.

"You know what?"

She looked up and I saw her mesmerizing eyes, the most beautiful shade of green and her long eyelashes which suited her perfectly.

"What?" I asked, flashing her my most dazzling smile.

"This is certainly the best birthday I ever had." Then she and I kissed and I fell in love once again.

After a while, she asked me to give her a good reason why I love her so much. I just smiled and said,

"Because there's no reason not to."
