So this story was the short essay that I submitted in class. We were all asked to pick among three topics to write about and true beauty was one of those topics. This essay is short cause we were only given five minutes to make it. I wanted to share it so here you go! Hope you like it! :)
There's beauty in everyone, that's what they all say. They say that true beauty is found on the inside, not the outside. They say that your attitude is more important than your looks. The question is, what is true beauty?
True beauty is acceptance. True beauty is knowing all your flaws and imperfections. True beauty means embracing all the things who make you who you are. True beauty is loving your frizzy dry hair, loving your pimple covered face and accepting the fact that you're short and that you always feel like you're walking through hundreds of trees when in fact, you're just passing through a large crowd of people.
True beauty cannot always be found in everyone. Why? This is because not everyone can accept who they are. So ask yourself. Do you love who you are? Do you accept what you have become? If you're answer is yes then congratulations. You have true beauty. You are beautiful.
