ciel phantomhive shakily put down the letter given to him by y/n after reading the last words 'suicide letter'. his hands were trembling, his breath was hitching and his forehead was perspiring. without thought, he immediately ran to y/n's home, broke into her mansion and ran up to her room.
he harshly opened the door, but it was too late. in front of her, was a lifeless body, all because of him. he approached the body, while covering his mouth in fear. ❝no! this can't be!❞ he held the body in his arms, shaking his head from side to side. ❝it's all my fault!❞ he shouted to himself while staring at her.
he knew she didn't love him anymore, but he couldn't help but fall in love with her again. although it was already too late. she ended her life to be with her love alois trancy. alois trancy lost his life, but ciel phantomhive lost the love of his life.
//if you didn't get this story, it's all basically a letter for ciel phantomhive. ciel was the 'you' in this story since it was addressed to him, and alois was the 'he'. she wanted to be with her true love, because she was an 'idiot' for loving alois. however she couldn't help love alois, because he was the only one left for her. ciel was her old love, and he got jealous of alois and wanted to 'save' the girl. he didn't realise at first, but ciel made a huge mistake.
you may think that y/n has no right to blame ciel, but keep in mind y/n's state of mind. she was trapped in an abusive relationship, having no one else besides alois (who y/n thought would change), so when she lost him, she didn't know what else to do and gave up. she perhaps didn't mean to blame ciel, but maybe blaming him made her feel better; distancing herself away from the thought that it might be her fault that killed alois.
please be aware that there are many abusive relationships that occur today, and look out for signs, anything that could help someone else. there may be people who are too afraid to voice their thoughts and feelings. i don't mean to romanticise these things, but it truly does happen in real life currently.
