I woke up to millions of vibrations coming from my phone. I picked it up still tired trying to see. Finally i came to realisation. "OMG RECONNECTED TODAY!" i shouted smiling hugely looking at my phone properly. Megan had been pinging me all morning! i sprung up looking at my outfit i had already planned out.
i realised it was 9:50. "shit 10 minutes till dad is here!" i ran downstairs hairspraying my hair in place and getting together the last of everything i needed. tractor sign(dont ask), food(sweets),drinks,pens and paper, hairbrush,phone,ipod,camera and my reconnected scrarf.
my dad knocked on the door with his usual tune. i opened the door looking at him stood there smiling, with his goaty. he was stood with his umbrella, and walked in with a little limp from where he had broke his hip before. He said softly "bet your excited?" laughing his head off. he always found his self funny. i shook my head and rolled my eyes collecting up my stuff saying bye to my mum and walking out the door.
I arrived at my dads house. well it was my nans, but my dad still lives with his parents bless him. Their house was quite a old house. the front garden had many flowers. i put all my stuff on one of the chairs in the front room. "lets go to asda shall we?" my dad asked as asda was only a 15minute walk away. "ugh...fine" i sighed as i agreed, i hated going to asda, especially the walking part.
After asda it was time to text megan to tell her she could come around. with in 5 minutes she arrived. "woah you were quick, why cant you be this quick when you come to my hosue on a school morning?" i joked. she rolled her eyes replying "excactly remeber?" excactly was what we called her little sister, she always slowed us down.
My dad said it was time to get in the car, so thats what we done. we plonked everything in and i sat in the back with megan. we were going to leicester to see them. about 3 hours from Bristol, shouldnt be too bad!
it was about half way into the journey and we stopped at a service station. we went into the toilets. i was taking pictures of myself in the mirror, asual. i wanted to remeber every part of this day! Megan came out and a old lady walked right infront of her. she burst out laughing and i shook my head laughing too. we got back into the car to continue our journey.
Finally we were in leicester. it took us forever to get there and we were getting annoyed and upset. we finally found somewhere to park. it was a while away from abbey park, so we had to walk. as we came to a corner i could hear them performing. my heart sank and i turnt to megan. "OMG WE ARE MISSING THEM, NOO!" we both grabbed eachothers hands and started to run my dad trying to keep up with us. we could hear every song we were almost in tears. people were staring at us as we were shouting out the lyrics almost crying.
as we finally got to the ticket area my dad grabbed the tickets out of the mans hand. a security guard wanted to have a look in my bag, he said i could go and me and megan LEGGED it over to the stage. we only managed to listen to one song. i turnt around looking for my dad but i couldnt see him anywhere. the masses of people kept pooring in.
