Chapter 3

~Jessica's pov~

Walking downstairs with Joey was pretty scary all the girls were staring at me Joey must have noticed because he squeezed my hand to make me look at him he gave me a tiny smile.

B: um Jessica how did long did it take you to convince Joey to adopt you? Lol probably a long time he probably got bored and finally said yes. Right girls?
A:right.
G:right.

I felt tears slowly leave my eyes and I started walking faster but Joey stopped me and pulled me into a hug.

Joey: Jessica sweetie are you okay? Why are you crying?

Of course he wasn't listening.

Jessica : yeah I guess I'm alright. Brice said that I had convinced you to adopt me.

Joey: oh that's definitely not the case. Let's go to the front desk and let me fill out those papers.
We walked to the front desk and Joey asked if he could get the papers for adopting. When he got them he filled them out and gave them the lady at the desk.

Joey: okay Jessica I'll be here tomorrow at 1 to pick you up make sure to have your stuff packed. Okay?

Okay. I smiled and hugged him.

Joey: okay well I have to go it's almost 5 I'll be back tomorrow to pick you up and don't let those girls get to you just ignore them. Well bye now.

Okay bye. I said while hugging him.

I walked to room without anyone pushing me or taunting me. That's a shocking. Laying down on the bed I pulled my laptop out and went on YouTube and watched joeys vlogs. Them slowly fell asleep.

Tomorrow is going to be awesome.
