Chapter 24

Jessica's pov

As soon as Joey and Daniel walked into the door I shot up and bolted to the door.

"Woah okay jess we're leaving right now then" Joey said laughing.

Daniel laughed also while i looked for the elevator. Once I found the elevator I waited for Joey and Daniel too get on. Once they were on I pressed the button and we were off. When we reached the designated floor Joey walked to the front desk while me and Daniel stood by the door.

When Joey turned around we all walked out the door to the car.

"Hey dad" I said getting into the car.

"Yes?" They both said then looked at eachother and laughed.

I chuckled slightly and said "how long have I've been in there?"

"For about five or so hours" Daniel said looking back at me.

"Oh okay but when we get home can I go to the park?" I said looking out the window

"Yeah sure just please be careful your head isn't fully healed yet" Joey said

"I promise I'll be careful I just want some fresh air" I said getting out of the car when it came to a full stop.

"Alright but text me when you're done and I'll come get you okay?" Daniel said with obvious concerns in his eyes.

"Okay love you dads" I said giving them a hug

"Bye jess be careful love you too" Joey said then I was off

When I reached the park there was lots of children here. I started to get more and more scared because of my anxiety. Then I looked around and saw a girl sitting on the bench alone and I thought I could go talk to her. I walk over to the girl and sat down.

"Hi" I said with a polite tone.

All she did was wave and look down.

"My names Jessica what's yours?" I asked

"My name is milinda." She said looking up.

"Do you maybe want to be friends?" I asked

"Yeah that would be nice I don't really have any friends I just moved to L.A this month." Milinda said

"Yay! What's your phone number?"

Both girls exchanged numbers and both chatted and got to know eachother as the minutes went by. They talked for so long that Daniel had to text Jessica instead of her texting him.

New text message from dad/dan:
Dad/dan: Jessica I'm coming too get you it's getting dark it's 8:00.

Jessica: Alright.

"Awh man milinda I have to go my dad is coming to get me but I'll text you when I get home. Or I can ask my dad to take you home?" I said

"Um yeah if that's fine with him" milinda said while looking down.

"Yeah I'm sure he will be fine with it. Oh look he's here right now let's go!" I grabbed milinda's hand and pulled her to the car.

"Hey dad can you take my new friend home?" I yelled at him almost to the car when we got to the car milinda yelled

"OH MY GOD YOUR PARENTS ARE JOEY GRACEFFA AND DANIEL PREDA!"
