Benny's POV
It's been the same dream for weeks now. There's this girl and I can never get to her in time in order to see her face. She's chaos- I know it.
There's this girl I can't get out of my dreams and it makes me sound insane. Because she isn't real. I start junior year tomorrow and being insane isn't exactly what I want to go by.
I won't even tell my bestfriend Ethan. We've been through some crazy stuff together but this, I'm not sure he'll understand.
Three hours soon pass by and I'm now watching the sunrise. There's nothing more nerve racking than a first day of school- even if it is junior year.
"Your wearing that?" My grandma saying pointing at the stripped shirt.
"Yeah why not, it's just school" I shrug.
"Okay" she says and give me a peck on the cheek before she leaves. I never know where she goes; but I never ask; she comes home every night and that's good enough for me.
I look at the ticking clock and I have exactly 20 minutes to get to Ethan's and head to school.
I swing the backpack over my shoulder and head out. Locking the door on the way. Ethan lived down the block which wasn't exactly as far as I made it seem.
*knock knock-* I get in touch with the wooden door twice before I almost punch Ethan in the face.
"Ready?"
"Ready as I'll ever be" he jokes. Ethan's my bestfriend I've known him my whole life. We're not exactly the popular kids. More of the fill ins but it's okay cause at least people know our names.
"Hey Lenny! Hey Edgar!" A jock yells at us as we walk in the school doors.
Or at least sort of know our names.
I had about half of my classes with E. Not too shabby.
