I yawned, not opening my eyes as i felt warmth next to me. I shuffled closer to it, stuffing my face into it. Something heavy was resting on me. I ignored it as i liked it.
I heard a small chuckle from above me and my whole body stiffened. I whimpered, curling up. He was going to hurt me. Draco was in my room and he was going to hurt me.
"Curse?" I heard him whisper. I slowly lifted my eyelids, fearing what i would see.
Draco looked down at me, concerned. Fake. It was fake and I knew it. Then it hit me. I was curled into Draco's chest and he was in my bed. "Wha- what are you doing here?" I whispered.
"You weren't well. You were shivering and crying." He stated with a sigh.
"Thanks." I said, looking up at him with wide eyes. Something sparkled in his eyes as he lifted his arm from me and stood up. "Anytime Riddle, anytime." He chuckled, emerging from the room.
I stretched myself, standing up. I quickly walked towards the bathroom, shutting the door behind me. I looked in the mirror and was myself with bloodshot eyes, encircled with red. My hair was messy and there were dried up tears on my cheeks.
My eyes went wide as i realised what had happened. Draco had seen me like this. He had seen me where i was most vulnerable and next time this happens, he sure wouldn't hesitate to hurt me.
God i didn't even know this boy and he had seen me like this? I had to harden up, i had to get my emotions under control and i had to stay away from Draco whenever i could.
I quickly showered and changed into my school robes when i realised i didn't have my timetable. I stepped out of the bathroom, ready to go Dumbledore's office when i saw it lying on my nightstand.
I sighed, Draco probably put it there. I was about to walk towards it when i heard something meowing. I turned around and faced my suitcase with my cat on top of it. Draco.
I decided i would look after my cat after my lessons for today were finished and i also had to name it.
I turned back towards my timetable, lifting the best sheet of paper from the table. I checked it and realised that i had exactly ten minutes to get to breakfast.
I tucked my timetable in my robes before emerging from my dorm. Then it hit me. I forgot the way. I internally groaned, how was i going to find my way.
I huffed as i realised that maybe i would have to ask Draco, since he was he only one i knew around here except for the golden trio, but they were in the gryffindor dorms. I walked over to the White door next to me, slowly lifting my fist. I banged it against the door.
A couple of seconds later Draco appeared. "Hi." I greeted him. "Hi." He replied. "How are you feeling?"
"I- i- I'm fine. You?" I stuttered, surprised that he didn't ask me about why i had been crying.
"I'm okay." He said, as we started walking down the hall and up the stairs.
"I'm sorry." I whispered, looking down at my feet. "I'm sorry that you had to see me like that."
Draco turned towards me, stroking my cheek with his thumb. "Don't be sorry Curse."
I flinched away from his touch, nodding. As we entered the main hall i replaced my expression to cold again, god what did this boy do to me?
I saw Ron, Hermione and Harry glaring at us as we entered and took seats next to each other. I waved at them, but they ignored me.
I turned back towards the food, staring at the bread with eggs in front of me. "Eat." Draco said, sliding orange juice next to it.
I nodded, taking a bite as if in a trance. It tasted amazing. I slowly chewed it, savouring the flavour before gulping it down. After four more bites i put it down, grabbing the orange juice and taking a couple of sips from it. Then i pushed the plate away, sighing softly.
"That's not enough!" Draco exclaimed, looking at my sandwich and juice.
"I can't." I said. I couldn't eat. I didn't know why i couldn't eat, i mean before i came here Voldemort used to give me something to eat every 2 days and i would munch it like a pig.
"Curse, is everything alright?" He asked me.
I nodded shortly, staring at the table. "What do you have next?" He tried again.
"Potions." I muttered, showing him my timetable.
He nodded slowly:"We have most classes together." That's when the bell rang, signalling end of breakfast.
Draco stood up, waiting for me as i tried to carefully not let my skirt get pulled up by the table.
We walked side by side towards our next class, surrounded by a comforting silence. I couldn't help but breath his manly aura, one that made me feel safer than ever. I felt protected, as if the ghosts of this who i have killed wouldn't be able to reach me.
I sighed into it, wondering what spell Draco used on me. What was wrong with me? Why was i acting like this?
My thoughts were interrupted as we reached the classroom. It had oak benches and tall windows with shutters. The room itself was very tall, as its roof was high up.
That's when a tall man wearing a black suit strode in. His pitch black hair swayed around him as his cold expression shook me to the core.
"I'm professor Snape and I've planned your seats." The man spoke, as a few people groaned.
He went to the beginning of the front row of benches and tapped his wand on it, yelling a name. A boy with blue hair walked over to the seat, groaning.
I zoned out as he yelled more names, following more groans. I was pulled out of my thoughts by professor Snape as he pointed his wand to a table in the back row. It was just one seat away from the window. "Curse Riddle."
I walked over to it, taking a seat as i saw Ron sitting on the seat to my left. Snape looked at the last seat, the one to my left and next to the window. "Malfoy!" He yelled.
Ron groaned beside me as Draco settled into the seat, smirking. "What's wrong Weasley? Wanted to keep the girl to yourself?" Draco said, leaning on his desk facing Ron.
"No Malfoy, your presence is just annoying." Ron retorted, facing towards Snape.
"This might be a shock, but your mixing My scent up with yours." Draco threw back.
"Darn it Malfoy, did u switch your nose with Voldemorts? Cause you seem to be not knowing where the annoying scent is coming from." Ron smirked.
At the mention of my uncles name, i couldn't help but but in:"Shut up Ron, this is so immature and you're not supposed to say you know who's name, I thought you knew that! But oh my I forgot, you switched your brain with air!"
"Roasted!" Some people yelled while others screamed:"Ooooooh!"
"Silence!" Snape yelled, ruining my moment of pride. Everybody went silent as Ron looked at me, hurt.
"As for a punishment you guys have exactly," He stopped, checking his watch. "Twenty minutes to brew the death potion i was explaining about."
Some people groaned as i scoffed, I had done this before, multiple times. I started grabbing ingredients and exactly ten minutes later my hand went up in the air. "What is it Riddle?" He sneered at me and i flinched. I heard a low growl next to me, but i ignored it answering Snape:"I'm done."
Snape burst out laughing. "Don't lie kid, even Potter didn't finish it yet, how could some new idiot like you?"
I felt my face heat up in anger as Draco slammed his fist against the table. "Problems Malfoy?" Snape questioned, turning towards him with a glare.
"Yes, you're a teacher. When somebody is better than you at potions your supposed to accept that, not be jealous and make fun of them!" Draco answered, his voice laced with venom.
"Detention Malfoy!" Snape yelled, banging his own fist against the table.
"You can't give him detention for speaking the truth!" I exclaimed.
"You too, Riddle. Detention!"
