Opportunity doesn't knock on your door it presents itself when you break down the door.

"Welcome to Paderson high         school."

I stared up the steps of the massive high school as students whirled around me. Coming in and out of rooms, locking and unlocking lockers, catching up with friends.

I wiped the palms of my hands on my dress hoping to get some sweat off them and took a big gulp of air.

'New school new me'

Wow bigger cliché please?

The shrill sound of the bell rings and everyone starts heading to their respectful classes.

Time to go.

Climbing the steps of the school fairly slower then normal so I feel like I'm in a cliché teen movie like high school Musical I head to the administration office.

My heels were the only sound of the lino floor as I walked down the long corridors towards my destination.

"Hi, I'm new here I was told to see administration when I arrived."
Introducing myself to the office lady who's tag reads 'Mrs Lyons' and who looks like would rather be anywhere but here.

"Name."
Not even a please. I was right. But if I were her I would hate my job to.

"Bianca Fields."

She hands me like 14 pieces of paper. Yay. *cough* sarcasm *cough*

"You better get to class now."

"Yes and thankyou."

I briskly walk out of the office and towards the year 11 locker bay.

I quickly unlock my locker literally throw everything inside grab a book and a pen and rush to my first class which happens to be english in the C block. I have no idea where that is so I search the whole school. Stopping in at the bathroom to check my appearance and deem it fine after 10 minutes of making my hair look perfect. Or as close to perfect as possible.

Finally, C13, english. Granted class has already been in session for like 20 minutes. But there 90 minute periods. Taking a deep breathe I push open the door.

"And why do you think this was her response. Hello."
The teacher, who's name I learnt was Mr Tamberalle by looking at the whiteboard behind him, stops his lesson and addresses me. And the whole class turns and looks at me. Great. I can just feel them judging me behind their gazes. Stuff like:

God, she wears heels to school.

She dresses like a slut.

I hate her hair.
And the last one offends me because I tried. I tried hard.

"Hi. I'm new, my names Bianca."
Simple and confident. Exactly what I'm going for.

"Ahh Bianca Fields. Have a seat." Good so I'm now I'm known. By one teacher at least.

There's only one seat left and its three rows from the front and three from the back. Right in the middle on the edge and next the a hot guy with really nice hair.

I take a seat open my book and try to take notes. Halfway through I look down and realise I haven't been taking notes. I've been writing her name over and over again. Rebecca. Just reading her name brings on the tidal wave of memories. Memories that threaten to drown me each and everyday.

All the things I've been trying to forget.

"Pssh, new girl."
One look over my right shoulder and I see that the guy with the nice hair is trying to get my attention.
