"Once upon a time, I was born to my parents with my twin brother Ezuoju in a city called Ba Sing Se, or impenetrable city. We lived in the Middle Ring. Life was okay.

"Then I started exhibiting bending habits. First came earthbending. My parents were ecstatic, they got me a teacher right away. Unfortunately, I wasn't very good at earthbending, and as my mentor watched me practice by myself, he noticed that my techniques were more of waterbending than earthbending. For those of you who don't know, waterbending is more adaptable, while earthbending is more stubborn. Noticing this, my teacher and I went out on a trip out of the city and to the coast. There, he asked me to preform the movements I was using on the earth on the water and as he predicted, I could bend water.

"My parents, when hearing of this, didn't grasp the concept right away. Soon, they accepted the possibility of this combination of elements because they weren't necessarily opposites in the cycle.

"Alongside this, I was also given a family heirloom; Firebane, a katana which can glow bright orange when the presence of a firebender is near. I also trained with the katana as a tertiary weapon.

"Soon, Starfire wandered across the vast city of Ba Sing Se, and met me while I was training. She asked to watch me, which I allowed, and she told me I had great talent after seeing be bend both elements and use the sword. After this, I took her to meet my parents, and they let her take me to this universe to participate in these trials. I've been told I can visit, so I promised I'd do so often."

"Also, I picked Jing Ti because out of all the people in that city, she was the most... optimistic." Starfire smiles. I can hear Raven groan a few seats down from me.

"Well, I'm done." Jing Ti announces, "Who's next?"

I glance at Alexander and nod. He sighs and switches places with Jing Ti.

"I suppose it's time for me to tell my story."
