**Shiroto’s POV**

The air around us starts to grow heavy and the temperature sinks below zero. Jeez!! What the hell could do that? No Hollow makes the temp drop…

“You are all eager to battle and I feed off of your wrath. Prepare yourselves, mortals, and make peace with your gods.” The creature says to us. Suddenly out of nowhere, a multitude of monsters started to climb out of the walls. To describe them in short, they were dark, really bad looking dudes. I scan them all, looking for any sign of hollowfication. No masks, no Hollow holes. They aren’t Hollows. Now why did I think there would be Hollows in this universe again?

I dunno. False hope.

“What do we do?” Alex asks calmly, looking to Nightwing for instruction.

“Isn’t it obvious?” I say before Nightwing can reply. “We attack ‘em and kick their butts!” I’m getting impatient. There are enemies around, and my blade ain’t connecting with their faces yet.

“Yes, Shiroto. That’s what we have to do.” Nightwing says. “But not so enthusiastic, okay? Jeez, I didn’t know you were so… violent.”

“Well fair warning now.” I grin. “Do I have permission to kill?” Something tells me they don’t do that around here.

“Ah… yes, just the demons.” Nightwing nods. “Let’s get this done before they grow too much in numbers.”

We all take off and pick a demon to fight. I naturally go for the baddest lookin’ one, ‘cause I need a challenge. So I come up to a demon who’s about yay high… I mean about 8”…. tall and has a dog-like muzzle. Yeah, basically an eight-foot-tall werewolf, except with super glowing red eyes, the kind that even mist starts to come off of ‘em. Also, the rest of its body is a deep black, and gives off a dark mist. Finally, its claws and talons are reptilian along with its tail.

“Haha! You’re a big one!” I shout to it, smirking from ear to ear. It doesn’t say anything at first. It just grabs my zanpakuto and hurls me into the wall, probably burning its hand in the process since my Shikai is activated.

“And you are a small one, puny Soul Reaper!”

I collect myself from the cracked wall, already bruised. If it weren’t for my unusually high spirit pressure cushioning my fall, I’d already have two cracked ribs.

Oh well. What have you expect from a maniacal demonoid who isn’t a hollow? “Wow, you’ve got quite an arm there.” I grin. “Allow me to try mine on for size!” I start to run towards the beast but quickly shunpo out of its view. I reappear behind it, slashing its back with my Fenikkusu. I try at least. Fenikkusu is actually stuck! The fire from my zanpakuto is absorbed into the back of the demon and its embers can be seen radiating through the once invisible veins in the beasts dense body.

“I thank you… for you see… your wrath feeds me your power…” The demon growls, turning its head unnaturally to face me and my stuck zanpakuto, ruby eyes filled with fire. My fire. The beast turns the rest of its body, with my blade still in it, towards me. Then, it does the unthinkable: it grasps my blade and pushes it deeper into its body! “Tell me…” The demon croons. “How does a kido user like you willingly get into Squad 11 of your Court Guard Squads?”

“Well… it’s quite simple really…” I say, a grin splaying over my face. “I just wouldn’t take no for an answer! I battled every seated officer while in my sealed form (except Ikkaku Madarame) and won! It was hard, right, but I did it, and so Captain Zaraki made an exception.”
