Mae's P.O.V.

It was yesterday, a strange guy was in my room who resembled that of Jason. Turns out that guy was Jason, and he's a ghost. He had mentioned to me yesterday he had been brought here for a mission to keep me safe. I held onto my chest, my heart pounding with excitement as I giggled to myself. Life was always an adventure with Jason. I was the one to always keep him safe, guess he's returning the favor isn't he? I sat up smiling in my bed and the first face I saw was Jason, since he had a job to protect me he had to be with me at all times, not leaving me out of his sight which, of course, I had no mind with that. He looked at me with a smile and got up kissing my forehead. "Ready for a new day?" He asked while giving out a small chuckle and I got up courageously and nodded with confidence "Oh yeah!" I said with such confidence that everything would go okay. As long as he's by my side nothing could hurt me, or so I thought...It was my parents, downstairs, arguing again. It sounded like things were being thrown which was no surprise. I just sat on my bed and let out a long sigh. "It's them...my parents their fighting..." I trailed off, Jason came to me and kissed my cheek then looked at me and said "hey, it's gonna be alright..I'll keep you safe through that, don't you worry" he smiled at me and I smiled back hugging him "Thank you Jason.."

Jason's P.O.V.

I haven't felt this in a long time I thought as I hugged her back while smiling a little, she was the only person I'd want to ever hug like this. She looked at me tears filling her eyes and I wiped them away and caressed her face "it's gonna be alright, I'll protect you, not because I have to, but because I want to" I said with confidence and she let out a small smile "there's that smile.." I said also smiling at her, she had such a cute smile when she chose to show it. I took her by the hand "Come on, we have places to be" I said as I lifted her up and smiled "ever floated before?" I asked she of course shook her head I went on "ever wanted to..?" her eyes widened "B-but I'm afraid of heights.." she went on, I smiled and looked at her "that's okay, just hang on to me, okay?" she nodded and gripped onto my shirt. I then started to float and went out her window remembering she's human and can't go through walls. Wouldn't want her to get hurt, boss would kill me, or well, whoever that voice was. We soared into the air, even though we were floating it feels pretty similar to flying I smiled at her she was close to me holding on tightly to me not wanting to look down, yet she was shaking. "Why are you so afraid?" I asked with caution in my voice, she said shakily "w-were so h-high up" She stuttered from fear. I held her close to me and said "it's okay, were almost there.." We continued floating until we reached our destination, the park...the very park we use to play hide n seek in...everyday..
