A/N
Hey guys! Here's another chapter of The Rogue. Please tell me what you think about it and leave me a comment below. I know I'm not that good of a writer but everyone's gotta start from somewhere, right?
This is my first ever attempt at writing a story so your criticisms and reviews are high appreciated.

A picture of the card left for Isobelle.
If you don't remember, that piece of paper was in the bag lying beside her when she woke up at the forest 8 years ago together with a few of her clothes and money. :)

Fireworks.
Overhead, fireworks lit up the night sky, pouring streams of color in the air. It was the middle of October, and the town were celebrating some sort of tradition—or so they've told me. I don't know the exact details, just that it's a tradition they do every October. There were a lot of people in town today. The smell of popcorn and cotton candy hung thick in the air making my stomach grumble. That reminds me, I haven't eaten since lunch.
"Hey guys, I'm going to grab some cheeseburger. You guys want anything?" Josh asked.
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm starved." I told everyone else.
The others chorused a yes. Like me, they haven't eaten since lunch. Matt wasn't with us this time. He said he had some important matters to tend to.
Sienna, a girl about my age who constantly raids the fridge back at the pack house rolled her eyes, looking at me. "You're always hungry."
"You're one to talk," sticking out my tongue to her childishly.
Not wanting to wait another minute, I took a step forward towards the hamburger stand, but somebody snagged one of my belt loops to stop me. I raised my eyebrow in inquiry.
"Stay here. We'll go get you your cheeseburgers." Mason ordered. Them and their Alpha genes, how bossy. But I let it go since he was kind enough to offer. Carter also followed them to the stand with Cole right on his trail.
Judging by the size of the line, I'd say it will be a ten-minute wait before their turn to order. Sienna must have also realized this so she called out to the three, "We'll be waiting by the fun house!"
The four of us girls didn't wait for them to answer. We pushed through the fringe of crowd, looking for the path to the fun house. But the walkways were too congested making it hard for us to navigate properly.
"Which way again?" I asked the three of them.
"Right."
"Left." Sienna and Veronica said at the same time. And to think they come here often.
"Really guys? And to think we come here a lot." Liz shook her head. My point exactly! "Follow me, it's right this way."
We continued moving forward in a straight direction. Wait. So both directions they pointed were wrong? I chuckled at this.
"What are you laughing at Belle?" Sienna asked. "Yeah, what are you laughing at? You didn't know the way either!" Veronica added gas to the fire.
"At least I didn't try and guess leading us to the wrong way." Pointing out their earlier mistake. This seem to have shut them up.
