Chapter 2

Carsyn’s POV

      After I dropped Payton off at her day care, I drove to the school; I was so nervous that I could barely concentrate on the road. When I pulled up to the school, my heart sped up so much I could barely hear the car behind me honking at her friend. I walked into the school, Trenton Prep, I tried to act calm and collected. I walked into the office and told them that I was new and received my schedule. As I was leaving the office, I saw her.

     “Macy….?” I whispered to myself.

     “Yep. That’s Macy Harrison. Don’t waste your time on her bud. I’m Braydon by the way. You must be new.” Said some guy who apparently is Braydon.

      “Yeah, I moved from Tampa. I’m Carsyn.”

      “Lemme see your schedule. Do you know Macy?” he asks while I hand him my schedule.

      “Not really I met her in the bathroom in Disney World. I was taking my little sister, Payton.” I said realizing how stupid that sounded.

      “The bathroom, huh? That’s interesting; we have homeroom together and third and fourth. Come on lets go.” He said.

      “What’s the big deal with Macy, anyway?”

      “Oh, she’s just hard to get. The last guy she went out with moved away; she hasn’t dated since. That was two years ago. She barely looks at a guy.”

      “Are you serious? I mean, she seemed normal when I met her.”

      “I don’t know she’s weird like that. You can talk to her in homeroom if you want. She has Mr. Gobel, too.”

      “OK.” I said walking down the long hallway towards the classroom.

     

Macy’s POV

      “Mace. You have to tell me who he was.” said Katelin as we were walking down the hallway. I had just told her about the cute guy I met, Carsyn, in the Disney World bathroom.

     “I don’t know him Katelin. I just met him once. Once and only once in a bathroom of all places. Oh, shit.”

     “What is it Macy? Is Cal back? Cause’ if he is I am going to beat his ass.

     “No, Kat. Carsyn is here like sitting with Brayden right over there. I can’t go in there.”

                                                                                                

     “Yes. You. Can. Come on we’ll go talk to Brayden ok? If he talks to you then we’ll know, but it may not even be him. You only met him once Mace.”
