This chapter has a part about the mental illness depression. I feel like writing serious parts, making the demigods seem more and more realistic. You have no idea how much I hate the convenient timing cliché, so I try to avoid that as much as possible. Did I also tell you that SMHBPDBI (or just, Shatter for short) comes up in Bing as well as Google? If you don't want to hear about the guy with depression (depression because I'm listening to Little Talk), then skip down to Piper. Thank you!

THIRD PERSON
Mr. McLean thanks Dr. Howard, and leaves the building. Four minutes later, Tristan McLean enters his mansion in LA, greeted by a perky Mellie.
"Hello Mr. McLean. How was your appointment with Dr. Howard?" Tristan clutches his new bottle of antidepressants.
"Uh... It went well. Hey, Mel, will you try to reach Piper?" Mellie shakes her head like a kindergartner just told her that Santa Clause gave her a unicorn.
"Tristan," She touches his arm, and the spot where her hand touches his arm feels warm. "I've tried to reach her already thirty seven times today. Trust my instincts, I believe that she's safe." Tristan nods and says a quiet thanks, and brushes past his personal assistant to his daughter's bedroom.
He folds the blanket on her queen sized bed over to make it like she had made her bed for once. Tristan's eyes start to sting, and he sits down on the bed, and puts his head in his hands. His quiet sobs echo around the room, and he regrets every single time he ever sent her away to a boarding school. Normally Jane would be able to reach her some how. But this was different.
It isn't that Mellie makes him nervous, he likes Mel. It's just that Piper seems to have been erased from his life. He reads the directions label on the bottle of the top depression meds over the counter available. He takes two capsule pills out of the bottle, takes the glass of water on her night table, and swallows them down.
He picks up the picture of him and Piper, smiling on his private stretch of beach in Malibu, in their wetsuits after surfing. More tears slide down the actor's face as he thinks about his lost daughter.
There's a knock on his door. "Tristan?" He looks up at his girl of the moment, Rena Davids, famous actress, who played the part of many of the female supporting role in many movies together. She's wearing a tight, low cut grey tee shirt, denim shorts, her famous killer ice blue eyes boring into his.
"Hey," She walks over to him, her long legs glowing with a recent tan. Her curled chestnut hair with blond highlights go down to her elbows, and she sits down to next to him. "Still worried about Pep- Piper?" She catches herself before she says Pepper, a common mistake for her. In Hollywood, a famous actor's daughter would have a name like Anala, Tonta, Zykia, or Rinalana, not an every day common name like Piper. So naturally, Rena almost always thought her name was Pepper.
Tristan forces a smile, and squeezes her hand. "Yeah. Nice save there." She smiles back at him.
"Thank you." She gets up, and kisses him softly on the lips. What neither of them see though, is the invisible Piper McLean from two years in the future, standing in the doorway, a tear glistening on it's way down her cheek. Her future boyfriend Jason, or Leo (hee hee hee) takes her shoulders, and gently whispers, "It's time to go." In her ear. Piper nods, and Jeo (Jason or Leo) takes both of her hands, and they disappear in a shimmering swirls of bright little orbs.
Tristan sits there with Rena, telling her about Piper while the medicine kicks in, slowly washing his worries away.
