Why is it that boys only want you when they see more skin?
I remember 14 year old me thinking I could get a boy to genuinely like me without taking my clothes off
But how absurd would that be?
To get into someone else's mind and fall in love with who they are
What they're scared of
Obsessed with
Which parent they like better
How do we even fall in love?
Sure you may be aesthetically pleasing, but..
Can we try to watch tv shows, only to get distracted by one another and get lost in laughter?
Can we go to the grocery store and wander around without a sense of direction, and turn it into a good time?
Can we even know what to say when the other is crying?
Why do we limit ourselves to bodies when there's so much more to love about each individual?
Do you like the way her eyes look when she smiles?
Do you love the sound of his voice in the morning?
Could you even tell me what makes him cry?
Love is so deep and intense and it's such a shame that getting to know someone has turned into
"Are you into anal?"
Instead of
"Tell me about your childhood"
To get inside someone's mind is the most intimate
To know what they're thinking,
To fall in love with the creases of their smile and the way they talk to strangers
Being raw and vulnerable is important
Don't fall in love with someone who sees only a body
