*Jordan's pov*
" Please tell me where we're going?" I begged Jack as he sped along the freeway. "My gosh Jordan. Has anyone ever told you how annoying you are?!" He said in an irritated voice. "Yes. Tell me where we're going!" I demand.
"I'm not going to kill you Jay. Relax, please." He whined. "Fuck you." I cursed and turned to the window. He's so annoying. Why did I even agree to this? I have no idea. "You're very annoying, you know?" I say after a while. He chuckled and glanced at me for a quick second.
"So I've been told, but how does that help the situation?" He smiled. "Well, you don't want to tell me where we're going so I labeled you as annoying." I said in a duh tone. "I'm taking you bungee jumping." He sighed. My ears perked up and a grin spread across my face.
"Really?" I asked excited. I've always wanted to do that, but no one would go with me. Alex was too afraid and my mom, well you know that story. Girls seem afraid to do daring stuff, I on the other hand love it. This is awesome.
"Yeah." He nodded. "Are you happy? You spoiled my surprise." He muttered. "I'm sorry I pressured you into telling me." I apologized. He rolled his eyes but a smile played on his lips. "Sure you are." He said.
"Do you know that one time, us guys went bungee jumping and Cam's foot got hooked in the cords and he fell over? Then when he almost reached the ground, his pants tore. Everyone say his spongebob briefs." Jack chuckled. I laughed loudly at his story. I can't believe they never told me this.
"Oh my gosh! Poor Cam." I laughed then an ugly snort fell from me. I covered my mouth and hid my face, embarrassed. Jack reached over and touched my arm. "Hey, it's okay. Nothing to be ashamed of Jay." He smiled
I nodded and gazed out the window until sleep took over.

"Jay. Jay wake up. We're here." Jack's smooth voice pulled me out from my sleep. I groaned and rubbed my tires eyes. "We're here sleeping beauty." Jack chuckled as he got out. I copied his action and followed him to a bridge where a man stood. Or more like a boy. He looked around my age.
"Hi. I'm Daniel. I'll here to supervise. Along with my friend Thomas but he's not here yet." The boy greeted. He gave me a dashing smile and I returned it. He was truly a site. He had light brown eyes and a chiseled cheekbone. His scruffy black hair fell in front of his eyes.
The shirt he was wearing hugged his biceps tightly. His tanned skin was shading his multiple tattoos. God, was he a site. Daniel began to explain what we should or shouldn't do but I couldn't exactly focused on what he was saying. He was just so beautiful. The way his lips looked as he spoke. Or how his eyes twinkle.
I was brought out of my thoughts when someone said my name. "Jordan?" His voice laced confusion. I stumbled back as my eyes widen. "T-Thomas?" I stutter. Daniel meant this Thomas. As in my ex boyfriend Thomas? This world is fucked up!
"How are you? I haven't seen you since..." He trailed off as the memory of our break up flowed through me. "I've been good. You?" I asked stepping farther away from him. "Oh come on Jay. You know me better than that." He said and pulled me into his arms.
I hugged him for a few seconds before letting go. Thankfully, he got the message and did too. Jack cleared his throat and stared at us intently. "Am I missing something here?" He raised a brow. "Oh um. Jack this is Thomas. My ex boyfriend. Thomas this is my friend Jack." I introduced both boys.
Daniel helped Jack get strapped up while Thomas helped me. The air between Jack, Thomas and I was very tense and awkward. Poor Daniel was confused. The entire time Thomas and I talked, Jack glared at him like he wanted to murder Thomas.
What was his deal? We bungee jumped for the entire day until five. "Can I have your number?" Thomas asked casually. Jack glared at Thomas. If looks could kill, Thomas would be 6 feet under. Jack muttered something under his breath that sounded like 'desperate bitch' and stalked off towards his car.
I quickly gave Thomas my number and ran after Jack. "What is your damn problem?" I sneered as I got in the passenger seat. "He is!" Jack growled. "Why?" I yelled as he drove off. "Because he was shagging you all God damn day. I brought us here for you and I to hang out! Not watch you and your dumb ex flirt." He shouted.
I stared at him for a moment before realization hit me. "Oh my gosh." I gasped loudly. "What?" He asked irritated. "Y-you're jealous." I laugh. Jack looked at me with angry eyes but I kept laughing. I didn't care. He couldn't do me anything.
"I am definitely not jealous." He defend looking back at the road. "Yes you are." I laughed even louder at his red face. "Jay, I'm not jealous. Stop." He said sternly. My laughing died down and we rode in silence.
"I'm really sorry I spent the day with Thomas." I said breaking the awkward silence. He nodded but stayed silent. Great the silent treatment. I hate the silent treatment. I've always have. It makes me feel guilty.
"Are you taking me home?" I asked hoping I could get him to talk. "Not yet. I have one more place I wanna take you." He smiles at me. I return the smile and slumped back in my seat. This time, I don't want to know where we're going.
I sat back and gazed at the city as darkness took over. California was even more beautiful at night. The lights. The people. The music. It was all so amazing. I remember when my dad and I would stroll through the streets of Cali. Mom would always say "take care of my baby John."
It surprised me back then how much she acted like she cared. She was such a good actress. But since my dad died, she had no reason to pretend to love us. This made me sad.
I always dreamed of having a mother who would love me and shower me with kisses. Have family dinner on Sunday. Have 'the talk' when it was time. All the things a normal teenager should have didn't come my way.
"We're here Jay." Jack snapped me back to reality. I stared at the view in front of me. One word: wow!
