Few weeks have past since that happened. I was smiling like a idiot, sprawled out on my bed.
That is, till my father bursted in. "Ever heard of knocking?" I groaned. "Well this is important, so hurry up and make yourself presentable. Mr. Vortex is on his way."
I let out a groan, as I got up from the silk sheets that kept the sane in me, and headed over to the closet, putting on a red summer dress. I put a white bow in my hair, though I thought I gave to much attention to me.
I shrugged and walked down stairs, but before I was near the bottom, Alex stood their, looking at me.
"Morning Sunshine." He huskily whispered, offering a hand. I gladly accepted his hand, since his kindness brought joy upon me.
Alex lead me to our father, talking about a party. I cleared my throat, as Mr. Vortex and my father looked over. "Now what plans are we going over?"
"Well darling we are going over some plans for a Masquerade." My father quietly admitted. I looked disapprovingly, and shook my head.
"Then make it so everyone takes their mask off at midnight." I added upon the topic. "Alright..but when should we have this party?" Mr. Vortex asked.
A smiled spread across my face. "The night after tomorrow." My father looked upon me with a smile, like I had accomplished everything in life.
"Very well, now off you both go, we have more planning to do." Mr. Vortex kindly spoke. I bowed a bit, and took my exit.
Alex swiftly caught up to me, and grabbed my hand. "What will you even be wearing?" I smiled and looked at him.
"Now you'll just have to wait and see what I wear."
