Ross was alone he was sitting on a beach alone he would walked around the school and see everyone with someone he walked around the hallways alone he felt like he had something missing he was in math class and he asked to go to the bathroom he saw a boy and girl kissing against the lockers he felt awkward so he turned around and left and the couple just went back to kissing he was walking to his locker then he opened his locker and put away one of his books and he soon saw a poster to prom he took the small piece of paper he started to walk to his next class until he saw girl looking through her folder he said "hello" and the girl didn't say anything back or even look at him Ross felt more sad he went back to class and Soon school was over he went to the subway and he sat there alone and went home he gets there "mom? Dad?" He said and no answer he signed and went upstairs he opened his backpack and saw the prom flyer he put it up on the mirror and sighed he worked on his homework and he soon feel asleep he woke up the next day and he sat at the bench until he saw the same girl he got the courage and said "hello" but she didn't say hi back "hello?" He said again. Nothing he looked back to notebook and the girl looked up and was looking at Ross. Ross looked at the girl "did you really not hear me" he asked the girl used her hand and she pointed at her hear and circled around her mouth say that she was death and she didn't speak "oh I'm sorry" he said then looked back the girl used her notebook and wrote its okay. I'm Laura Ross read it and smiled he wrote back I'm Ross laura smiled and she took back her notebook and she started to do her work and Ross started to feel a lot better he had a smile that couldn't go away and soon Laura and Ross became great friends they would have a drawing competition and Laugh and soon Ross and Laura had there own notebooks so they could talk to each other Ross was home and doing his homework he looked at the notebook that was labeled Ross and Laura's notebook he smiled and went back to his homework sometimes he would try to make a move but mess up he tried to fake yawn and to put his arm around her but forgot about the space between them and he fell he sat back up and pretend that nothing happened while Laura smiled but one day they where writing and he asked have you ever tried speaking? He looked at Laura and she shook her head no "why" he asked and she wrote people laugh Ross wrote back I would never Ross wrote again sorry Laura just shook her head no and Ross felt bad the rest of the day he felt bad the next day he was walking to the bench and he saw Laura and soon another guy sits next to her and he puts an arm around her Ross heart broke he turned around and went back home depressed it was 3:15pm and he got a text and it was Laura where were you today? He replied sick he lied so she wouldn't worry he puts his phone and went back to work until he got another text I missed you! Ross looked back at the poster and he started to think about prom he smiled and went up to the mirror he turned around and pretend that she was there "hey" he said and on the notebook of said prom he kept on practicing he soon found out how to sign soon he found the right way to ask her the next day he got a small Bouquet of yellow flowers He got to the bench and sees her she was looking around until the same guy was there he kissed her and Ross turned around and didn't see Laura pushing him away and got up with her things and left Ross walked away he leaned on the wall and fell he dropped the flower and Ross's world went upside down he felt depressed he really like Laura but he thought Laura like that guy he was in math class but he could think straight he raised his hand and asked "can I go to the bathroom" and the teacher said yes he went to the bathroom he washed his face he tried to calm down he tried to get a paper towel but he couldn't he tried again and he hit the paper towel holder and hit the stall door he soon relaxed he got a paper towel and dried his face he got out of the bathroom and walked back to the class until he saw Laura he shook his head no and turned around and started to walk Laura started to tear up "wa-" she tried to say something "wait" she said but he didn't hear so she made a groaning noise he stopped and got confused he turned around and looked at Laura "he...hit..me..so..I..hit..him" Ross smiled he signed and spoke and he said "you sound beautiful" and she smiled "you..sign" she said "you speak" he said and signed at the same time Ross room a deep breath and started to spell out Laura in sign and e signed and spoke "Laura will you go to prom with me" and Laura drop get notebook and ran to Ross they hugged and they lived happily ever after
