It was a hard, long road to get here. You were young when the titans first broke through the walls, about eleven years old. You were sitting with your three friends: Eren, Armin, and Mikasa. They were practically siblings to you, and that's how you all treated each other. Yet, after the wall breach that day, the four of you made a pact to join the Survey Corps together, to avenge the destruction the Titans cause, and to avenge the death of Eren's mother.
Here you are now, standing tall with each of them, your right hand over your heart as you rendered a salute to the Commander. Commander Erwin Smith, that is. After being top ten of your class, the four of you were selected to be in the Survey Corps by the Commander himself.
You (e/c) eyes subtly looked at the people in front of you. You were anxious to be meeting them in person. The group consisted of Commander Erwin, Hanji Zoë, and Lance Corporal Levi Ackerman. Your heart nearly launched out of your chest at the sight of seeing him again.
You thought to yourself.'Lance Corporal Ackerman. It's been nearly seven years since he's saved my ass from the titans. I wonder if he remembers?'
