All Alecto ever knew was a world comprised of death and torture. She stood proudly and loyally beside her sisters, Megaera and Tisiphone, as they fulfilled their roles as the three Furies. Together, they sought vengeance on those wicked mortal souls for their sins in life. Alecto was used to working with her sisters who cared more for their role in Hell than they did for each other. It was simply their nature, as sharp and merciful as immortal blades.

Alecto was accustomed to the deafening screams and sinister crunching of bones as they were set aflame and tortured. Her mind was habituated to the guilt and darkness of it all, unbothered by the terror and suffering inflicted by her own hands. Not all punished souls appeared deserving in Alecto's eyes, however, some having been convicted merely for being a bully or not admitting to scratching someone else's car. Naïvely, Alecto believed that her opinions mattered— that she could simply free souls without her sisters noticing, without consequences. As a Fury, her actions were deemed as traitorous, and as horrific as the crimes committed by the tortured souls.

Her life shattered around her when she was cast out of Hell by her own sisters for her crimes. Alecto was condemned to a world of morals and conscience, a world of love and care, of romance and heartache. A world of things she had never experienced, for hatred and shadows had consumed Alecto since her very creation.

Fighting to stay alive in Greendale while struggling between right and wrong, Alecto was a world away from everything she had ever known or believed. With her entire past as a goddess crumbling to pieces beneath her feet, Alecto found different demons to battle. Demons far more sinister than those that hunted her from the pits of Hell. Demons within her very mind, tearing her apart as retribution for all she had done.
