Chapter 17 - Forthcoming Battle

"they're going to be attacking from the north and the south with the speed they're coming at the should be here in three days." Zach informed me i huffed Heaven's step father was really becoming bothersome.

"right send out a notice to the outline houses tell them to move to the centre gather everyone as close to the pack house last think we need is them not knowing anything. ready the underground rooms the night before the attack women, children, Elderly and those who are not able to fight go down there. Heaven will be there also be there using her powers." i knew it was a long shot with Heaven but i wanted and needed to keep her safe.

"Yes Alex." Zach replied

"if places start filling up to quick opened the dormant winks and have four to a room we have to keep a handle on this and seen as it will be a school day we'll have to think of something that will excuse all the wolves." i rubbed my face there was a knock on the door.

"come in" a beaming Heaven walked in i smiled bright as not to worry her.

"hello my Angel." he smile dropped

"is everything okay?" she questioned taking my side

"everything is fine and sorted." i try to reassure she folded her arms and raised one eyebrow.

"no it isn't Alex. this is to do with my father isn't it and the rouges" she looked between us

"yes it is" she nodded

"so what's going to happen i presume you're going to fight" Heaven sat on my lap while i circled one arm around her bringing her close

"yes" i sighed knowing i would have to tell her so i did on what we planned to do and a few problems we had.

"well i have an excuse for you my birthday." she said we didn't catch on i knew it was soon but how would it help.

"well everyone knows that we are very important people so they would be expecting a party to be thrown just say that everyone who is coming out of school has something to do with that there are lots of jobs to be done." she shrugged le leaned back i truly do love her she is smart.

"that could work Luna but what happens when there is no big party." she laughed

"do you know Ally i have a feeling that she wants to do one and give her a couple of days and say it has to be big and she'll come though there problem one solved."

"right Zach get onto that we'll talk more later." he nodded and left she turned and smiled at me.

"on more happy news Rosie is going to be mine and Sky's little sister" she chirped i lifted her up.

"that is great Angel, I'm really happy for you" she kissed me which i gladly returned while still holding her i opened our bedroom door.

"Alex! Heaven! dinner is ready" mom shouted and we broke apart.

"come on before she decided to come and get us" Heaven giggled she jumped down and took my hand leading me to the dinner table. After dinner i was back in my office looking at the plans for the next few days which i had to sign off Heaven came behind me and started massaging my shoulders i relaxed.

"err no go back to what you were doing the only time you're not stressed is while I'm around" she continued until i finished

"Alex i think it would be a good idea if Sky were involved in the fight" she spoke i turned round.

"before you say anything hear me out. look all I'm saying is that you have the upper hand you have to magical being on your side so use them, if you're so set on having me look after the pack which i am more than happy too it would put my mind at ease if i knew that Sky was helping at least somewhere close to the fight." she explained to be honest i was a pretty good idea but for a none wolf it was too dangerous.

"if both off you can find a way so that he can help without being anywhere near it then i think it would be a good idea" she smiled and nodded

"I'll get these to Zach while you go to bed okay, you look exhausted" i let out a long breath

"okay don't be long okay" she nodded and left taking the papers with her. i shut down my computer and shut off the light before heading to my own room and changing. i climbed into bed switching on the TV waiting, Heaven came in and changed before climbing in beside me.

"i love you Heaven" i whisper as she curled into me.

"i love you too Alex" i kissed her head and shut off the TV before falling asleep with my beautiful mate in my arms. dreams of my future with Heaven took over my mind.
