"So where are we going?" I question trying to break the awkward silence in the car. "Well first we are going to the boardwalk carnival and then possibly down to the beach. Does that sound good to you?" Ross answers as you smile widely. "That sound amazing." You reply as a smile forms on Ross' face. In no time Ross pulls into the Malibu beach parking lot and helps you out of the car. You two walk to the entrance of the carnival before Ross drags you to one of the booths. The point of the game was to throw the darts to pop as many balloons as possible in 30 seconds. Ross paid the worker and ended up popping 18 balloons. Then he did the cliche move of picking out a stuffed animal as his prize and giving it to you. You laughed at how cheesy he was but took the panda bear anyways. "Why thank you kind sir." You joked as Ross played along, "It was my pleasure m'lady." For the next few hours you both walked around the boardwalk playing games, riding rides and eating the amazing food. "Okay the sun is about to set so how about one more quick game before heading to the beach?" Ross asks as you nod eagerly. "Lets play the ring toss please." Ross smiles down at you and nods getting in line behind a little girl.

The girl must have heard you two behind her because she turned around and waved at the both of you. You guys smiled and waved back as she introduces herself. "Hi I'm Harmony!" She spoke so cheerfully it made you smile wider, if possible. "I'm Ross and this is my friend Y/N. And if you don't mind me asking where are your parents?" You look around and notice that Ross is right there are no adults watching the little girl. "My mommy is over there." Harmony states as you both turn to look where she is pointing and see a women on her phone. When she notices you all looking she smiles and mouths 'almost done' to Harmony. You smile as you see Ross bend down to her level. "How old are you, Harmony?" He asks with a smile etched across his face. Instead of answering she holds up 6 fingers as Ross nods. You and Ross continue to make small talk with the little girl until it is her turn to play. She pays the man and tries to toss the rings onto the bottles but misses. She pouts as the worker yells next and Ross hands him the money. You step to the side and ask Harmony if she wanted to watch she shakes her head pointing to her mom who is motioning for her. You exchange goodbyes as Ross prepares to throw the last ring. Once he does the worker rings a bell signaling he had won the game. Ross fist pumps in the air as you laugh. He looks over to you as you point to a unicorn stuffed animal. The worker gives you two the unicorn before you two start walking away. "Harmony with her mom?" He questions as you two walk towards the entrance of the carnival. You nod as you get a good idea. "Omg Ross we should give the unicorn to Harmony; she seemed really upset when she lost." You say happily. "Yeah but how she could be anywhere." Ross says as you frown. "Or she could be playing on the bouncy house." Ross suggests as you look up confused. And like Ross had said there Harmony was on the bouncy house. You two quickly walked over there and called for Harmony. Once she saw you two she climbed out of the bouncy house and smiled widely greeting you two. And once again Ross got down to her level and told her that we wanted her to have the unicorn. She looked over at you, who was now crouched down next to Ross, and you nodded happily. "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you." Harmony squealed grabbing the unicorn and hugging onto it for dear life. Harmony's mother then came over and told her they had to leave. Harmony hugged both of you before running off with her mom. "Welp we missed the sunset." Ross sighed looking at the dark horizon. "But," you poked his side, "we made a little girl very happy." He agreed as you two made your way to his car. "Hey Y/N before we go I have something to tell you." Ross pauses as you wait. "I like you a lot, i have for a while I've just been to afraid to tell you." You breathe a sigh of relief, "I like you too Ross." You notice Ross relax a bit before adding, "Well then would you like to be my girlfriend?" He bites his lip as you nod quickly. "Oh Aspen is going to love to hear about this." You think to yourself as Ross embraces you in a hug.
Well this was better than the first part.
