Not all heroes fly or wear a cape,
If there was a building fire I hope both of us would escape,
I can run fast but not at super speed,
Hell I would even take some kind of trusty stead,
I can't control and stop time I'm always running late for work,
"That boy is never on time"
They say with a smirk,
And trust me I can't control fire
if you could've seen my kitchen,
it was an accident I'm sorry please stop your bitchin',
I cant climb walls and shoot sticky stuff from my hands, I guess I do if I have enough socks and if the time demands,
I do have a hero name that you might know,
As my friends used to "kindly" put it I was Captain Save-a-Hoe!,
I don't have concussive eye blast or x-ray vision to see through walls,
Hell I have to use contacts just to see down halls,
I wish I was super I wish I was greater,
If I ran into gunfire I would be a large cheese grater,
I may not be super but I am hero,
The number of times I had regretted helping people is zero,
I may not be able to dodge bullets with my Spider Sense,
To tell when someone needs a friend just takes common sense,I may not be able to tell what you're thinking with my telepathy,
But I can try using my natural skills of empathy and sympathy, to be hero so many things it takes,For us all to be heroes we don't need capes!
