Chapter 16

Hey. Bit of a twist in this chapter. Anyway, read on to see what it is. 

Morgan's P.O.V

In the morning at the breakfast table all I could think about was the way Morgan kissed me last night. It felt so amazing. He seemed to really be in his comfort zone when he was on Neptune. He looked so happy cantering on Neptune. I felt so pleased it was my idea. After breakfast Mum and Dad clean up and Jack and I go up to my room. Jack's lips crash on mine and I immediately kiss back. It's like his lips are a part of me now. I need them daily. Just as we lie down on the sofa my phone rings I groan. 

'Yes?' I answer gruffly. 

'Morgan' Ora answered. She sounded in intense pain. 

'Ora. What is it. What's wrong'.

'I think. I think the baby is coming. Morgan help me please'

'Ok. Wait there. I'm coming over' I say and hang up.

Jack looks at me questioningly. 'Long story short Ora's pregnant with Aaron's baby and she's having it now' I tell him. 'I'm coming too' He says and I don't even question it. I call Aaron but it's the fuc-fudging answering machine. I text him instead, get my coat and shoes and speed over to Ora's house. I get in and immediately hear crying coming from the kitchen. Ora's collapsed on the ground and I didn't realise until then how big her stomach was. 'Morgan thank god please help me up' She cries and I nod and call Jack. We grab her arms and hoist her up. I lead Ora out to my jeep, lying her down in the back and Jack and I in the front. I speed over to the hospital and rush up to the info desk. 'My ex is having a baby. Can you get a doctor?' I ask and the woman nods, pressing a button and calls for a doctor and a wheelchair. Two minutes later a dark skinned man with grey hair and glasses in a white coat appears with a wheelchair and Ora lowers herself into it. We run to a room, Ora slamming on the bed and clutching the sheets. 'Oh my god. She's 10cm dilated. Into the delivery room' He says. Ora just groans in pain. The bed trundles through two doors and Ora's given a breathing mask to breathe into. She lets several screams. 'I see something. Push hard Ora dear' The doctor says. He mops his brow with a tissue. Ora lets out a ripping scream and I look and see a tiny pink foot. It's both the most amazing and disgusting thing I've ever seen. Jack holds Ora's hand which she grips harshly. She lets out one more scream and suddenly the doctor is holding the crying baby. It's covered in blood and scary white slime. One of the nurses takes her away to clean her. Suddenly Aaron bursts through the door. 'I just got your text. Oh my God Ora baby are you okay?' He asks her, taking her head in his arms. She starts sobbing. 'Oh Aaron' She cries. 'It's okay baby. Shhhh. Aaron's here now. It's okay. You did so good babe. We have a child!' He says. 'A girl' The nurse announces, coming back with the new baby in a pink bundle. Ora cradles her and kisses her tiny forehead. 'I'm your mummy' She whispers, tears falling. She gets passed onto Aaron and he puts a finger on her small fist. She captures her hand on his finger and it sets Aaron off sobbing. I take hold of her and she stares up at me with her big blue eyes, obviously inherited from Ora. 'I'm your uncle Morgan baby-. Wait what's her name?' I asked, rocking her. Ora and Aaron look at each other. 'How about Penelope after my grandmother?' Ora suggests and we all grin. I pass her to Jack and he smiles at her through watery eyes. 'Hello little Penelope' He whispers and he stokes her soft cheek. It's getting late so we give Penelope back to Ora and leave. 'You hungry?' I ask Jack and he nods. 'Staving' He says. 'Chinese?' I suggest and he grins. I know him so well. We pull up to Say Say's Chinese Court and take a seat. 'Do you ever think about having kids?' I ask through a mouthful of sweet and sour prawns. He nods slowly. 'I have. I want us to have some. More than one. I want to have kids with you' He says, taking a bite of shredded beef and pine nuts. My heart flutters. He wants to have kids with me. I pay and we go home. I kiss him slowly and go to bed, still on a high from what he said.
