Chapter 2: The game

Luke stands up and puts the movie in. I barely saw the design on the DVD to get a small hint of what it was. It had dark colors.

"You girls ready?", He asked with a grin.

Emma both look at him, assured, and nod. The movie play screen popped up.

"Close your eyes. I don't want you to see what it is yet.", Luke said.

Emma and I both covered our eyes. Suddenly, I heard a door open.

"Hey Luke. Who are these two lovely girls?", I hear a voice ask, with a beautiful Australian accent.

"These are my friends, Olivia and Emma. You girls can uncover your eyes. This is Calum.", Luke said.

"Hello. Nice to meet you two.", Calum says with a smile.

You could tell Emma had little invisible hearts in her eyes. Within the blink of an eye, I could tell someone had a crush.

"H-hi. I'm Emma.", Emma said, stuttering.

"Hello. I'm Olivia.", I said.

"What are you guys doing?", Calum asked.

Calum set down his backpack, walking to sit on the couch, next to Luke.

"Watching a movie.", Luke says, pressing play.

The movie starts to play. I see a long white cloak, in the shape of a person, covered in blood.

"Yes!! I love scary movies.", Emma shouts.

"Oh cool. Me too.", Calum says, sounding excited for the movie to fully begin.

The thing in the white cloak started to move slowly closer to the screen. My heart started pounding. I'm not much of a fan of scary movies. It turns out, the movie was Scare House 2.

I tried looking around the room, avoiding the TV screen. They're were posters everywhere. One Direction, Nirvana, Ramones, and even Cher Lloyd. His walls were navy blue. There were many framed pictures of these four boys on stage, but the photo didn't show exactly who the boys were.

Emma, Luke, and Calum all twitch, almost jumping out of their seats.

"What happened?", I asked.

"The woman in the white cloak thing just threw a glass across the room at that woman!", shouts Emma, shaking with fear.

"I'm gonna get us some drinks. What so you guys want?", asks Calum.

"Coke"

"Sprite"

"Coke"

"Okay.", Calum says.

Calum walks into the kitchen while Luke, Emma, and I all sit and watch the movie. The movie froze.

"Oh no. I'm sorry. I guess the movie is scratched or something.", Luke spoke worriedly.

Calum walks in and hands is our drinks. Emma smiles.

"It's ok.", I said.

The front door opens. Two teenage boys walk thought the door. One with medium brown hair and the other with bright blue hair.

"Oh. Hi. I see we have some guests.", the brown-headed boy says.

"Oh. Yeah. This is Olivia. And that's Emma. They're some friends from school.", Luke says.

Both boys walk towards me.

"Hi I'm Ashton.", Says the brown headed boy.

"I'm Michael. It's nice to meet you.",the boy with the blue hair says.

"You too.", I reply.

"I can't seem to get the movie to work.", Luke says, turning off the tv. Ashton's face lit up.

"Let's play a game.", Ashton suggested.

"Like what?",asks Calum.

"Spin the bottle.", Ashton says with a smirk.

"Okay. Here's the bottle.", Ashton says with a huge grin. We all sat in a circle in the living room floor.

"I will spin the bottle. Whoever it lands on will have to either kiss the person to their left or do a dare that the spinner chooses. We will take turns spinning. Sound cool?", Ashton explained.

Everyone nodded. Ashton spun the bottle. My heart was beating so hard I could feel it in my stomach. I had so many butterflies. I had no idea why.

The bottle landed on Calum. "Calum, I dare you to go outside and scream 'I'm Asian' as loud as possible.", Ashton said, giggling.

"That's a stupid dare.", Calum replies.

"Do itttttttt.", Ashton begs.

Calum stood up and ran outside. We all looked outside cracking up.

"IM ASIAN!", Calum shouted at the top of his lungs.

We all clutched our stomachs, dying with laughter. Calum ran back inside and sat down. Still giggling, we all say down along with him.

"Just so you girls know, I'm not Asian.", Calum said.

All the boys started to laugh.

"Calum, since it landed on you, you can spin this time.", Ashton said.

Calum spun the bottle, with just a small flick of his wrist. It landed in-between me and Luke. Everyone smiled at Luke and I.

"Do it.", Calum said, chuckling.

He leaned close and put his lips against mine. I put my hands on his cheeks as he places his arms around my waist. I could feel sparks, immediately.

We finally broke apart. Luke and I started to blush.

"Woah.", Emma said. Everyone looked shocked.

I had no idea what just happened.
