Luke walked to Ashton and Michael, whispering in between them. Ashton and Michael both nodded, as Luke headed back towards me.

"Follow me.", he said with his signature smile, opening the front door.

I quickly nodded and followed him outside, being careful not to drop my coffee.

"Any hint on where we're going?", I said loosely lacing my fingers together, keeping my arms in front of me. "I was thinking, since it's nice outside, we should just have a day to hang out for while, before we go to the movie. Michael and Ashton said they would be home all day, practicing on song lyrics and Emma and Calum? Who knows where they'll be.", He said, slowly sipping his warm drink.

"You know, it seems so cliché, those two, meeting each other by something Ashton probably dared him to do. They do fit each other well. Seeing them together this morning was really nice. They seemed so happy. Ya know?", I said looking down at my feet.

"Yeah. It is cliché isn't it?", he said with a slight giggle. I grinned. "Since my car is still stuck at the school, you want to ride bikes to where we're going? We have an old pink one that Michael, Ash,and I bought for Calum as a joke on his birthday. He never rides it.", He said taking a sip of his coffee, leaning against my car left in the driveway from the day before.

"Yeah. That sounds fun. How about we go to the park? You know the one with the little pond area?", I said. "That sounds great.", He said looking at me with a sweet delicate smile.

Luke walked over to his garage and lifted the door, looking around for the bicycles we were prepared to ride. He lifted each of the bikes and carried the out towards me. He set a retro pink bike with a large brown weaved basket in front of me. As he closed the garage door I looked closer at the bike. It had a light pink body frame, with white handles, a white seat, and outward handle bars.

He shut the garage door and hopped on his bike, pedaling towards the end of the driveway, motioning me to follow. I hopped on the seat, and followed Luke down the concrete, onto the road.

I looked around at all the trees, with their leaves no longer green, but a soft brown color, blending well with everything around it. Not too far away, I could see a small pond, with a massive field, covered in greenery. "We're almost there!", Luke shouted making sure I could hear.

I continued to pedal, doing my best to stay behind Luke. Cars sped by as we got closer and closer to the park. Finally arriving at the park, I looked around, noticing all of the beautiful scenery. Luke slowed down his bike, and pedaled directly nect to me.

"You see that gravel? There's a bike rack over there. We can park there.", he stated.

"Okay. Thanks Luke."

"Anytime."

We pedaled to the small graveled area surrounded by bushes, and parked our bikes.

"Look in the basket. There are some locks.", He said, pointing to the brown weaved basket attached to the bicycle I rode.

I looked inside the basket to find two silver locks covered by 2 long chains. Picking the cold metal items from the basket, I handed them to Luke, and watched him lock the bikes to the rack.

"So what first?", I asked, slipping my hands into the pockets of my jeans.

"Follow me.", he said, taking my hand and running towards a large group of geese. His hands were warm, and incredibly soft.

"Luke wait! You'll scare them!", I shouted, trying my best to keep up with Luke, while his hands had a firm grip on mine.

"I'm not worried about the geese.", he laughed.

We ran towards a large lake, surround by small trees, bushes, and old wooden park benches spread throughout the area.

We came to a stop in a small patch of grass a few feet away from the water.

"Here ya go little guy.", Luke said, putting his hand out to a small grey kitten licking his hand.

"And we ran here because?", I questioned.

"Those geese were messing with this kitten."

"Your such a girl.", I added.

"Your the girl, Olivia.", He scoffed.

I rolled my eyes, nudging him lightly on the shoulder. I picked up the kitten, rubbing behind his ears. It started to purr, then suddenly wedged its head in between my arms.

"Why is she hiding?", Luke questioned.

"I don't know. How do you know she's a girl?"

"Because I do.", He paused, "I just felt a rain drop."

"That's probably why she's hiding."

Suggesting that we should leave before it got worse, Luke and I quickly rushed over to our bicycles to unlock the chains tying them up.

I didn't want the kitten to stay alone in the rain, so taking him with us, I out him in the basket of my bike.

I plopped down hard on my seat, soaking my jeans. The longer we were there, the harder the rain got. Luke gestured his hand to follow him, and I did so. We rode back to his house as fast as possible, getting drenched in rain.
