Chapter 2~ Part 3: The Investigation

Brody, Haren and Ryu all investigated Zoma's body, to see if there was anything important that they should have known.
"Yikes. Zoma's forhead is cracked open." Haren nervously said.
"The sink is pretty much flooding the whole bathroom now!" Ryu noticed that the sink was on the entire time since they have all found the body.
"Thats weird. His neck looks like it has been... choked?" Brody questioned as he viewed Zoma's head that was all full of water and blood.
Corrin and you were outside the bathroom. Corrin pulled out her handbook to check and see Zoma's profile.
"It says here that Zoma has died around 11:55 am. Right now it is 12:30 pm. Which means the murder wasn't that long ago!" Corrin gasped.
"That just make things more confusing!" You tell her. "Who would be the one to kill him!?"
"Someone that wasn't in that room at the time we all decided to look for him, of course." Corrin answered. She put her handbook back in her pocket. "Come on, lets look in the library! There should be some stuff in there!"
You and Corrin walked into the library of the school, eventually seeing Peyo, Darci, Wacon and Elesa as well. You look around and try to see some things.
"Guys. I think I see something thats a little, um, strange." You look over by the curtain of the room and see a cord that was on the floor. It seemed as if it was yanked off or something.
What use would that have made?
"Hey guys, there are books over on the table that are open. It is obvious that someone has been in here." Peyo claimed.
"Is there anything else?" Corrin asked everyone that was in the library.
"Nope! I haven't seen anything!" Darci explained.
"Cause you never look!" Elesa snarked.
"Yeah. How do we know YOUR not the killer?" Peyo questioned Darci.
"Who the killer? Lil' o me? Please, Peyo. I already know who clearly did it! It's so dang obvious!"
"Who did it then?" Wacon asked her.
"If I told ya'll now, this won't be as fun. I will say what I have to say in trial!" Darci claimed.
"Ugh! Your so pointless! At least WE actually look!" Elesa complained as she stormed out of the room.
You decided to leave the room as well. It seems you have found quite enough in the library.
As you walk in the hallway, you realize something. You know longer heard the loud cries coming from Lapis's room.
Is she calming down?
You decided to knock on her door.
"Come in...." you hear a fateful voice from the other side.
You slowly open the door and walk into her room. You see Lapis sitting on the edge of her bed, glancing at the floor. Her eyes were all red. And tears were still on her rosy cheeks.
"Are you doing any better?" You asked her. Lapis doesn't speak. She just starred at the floor.
"Hey, I'm not sure about it, but you see, people are already suspecting who killed Zoma-"
"I already know who it is." She interrupted with a breathless answer. "It is clearly obvious."
"It is?"
"Yes. But I refuse to speak their name, for it will just show a side of me, that I refuse to share with any of you."
"A side?" You ask.
"A side of hatred. I do not like feeling such a fiery feeling in my soul. So I must not speak out there name. I do not like scaring people. But I shall do whatever I can to help out with next trial." Lapis finally gazed her eyes at you, then gave you a tight hug.
"Thank you." Lapis said. You didn't know what she was thankful for, but you hugged her back anyways.
You don't have a clue on who the killer is, but maybe, just maybe, would the others make it much more obvious at trial.
