"What an inciting place, I love it!!" I said as I looked around the living room, Mrs Wilson has been showing me around after we had breakfast, this place is too huge for two people, unfair!
"aww really? I'm glad you like it...so what do you think we should do today?" she asked with a huge smile
"uhh I don't know, go to the park maybe? I'm dying to see new faces, and talk to new people, foster home is like a cage"
" great idea, well then I guess we should get ready, meet me here when you're done"
" great I will" I said as I got upstairs to freshen myself up, I was so excited, the sun was shining beautifully outside, I had the biggest smile on my face.
I freshened up then wore a white knee-length dress and sandals; I took my phone then headed downstairs, "oh hey hope I didn't make you wait too long"
"noo I just got here actually. Ready to go? "
"yes! Lets go"
We decided to walk to park since it was only a few blocks away, the park was so busy, different people and activities going on, when we got there we decided to buy some ice-cream and just get to know each other "I'll get the ice-cream, you stay here" I insisted
"alright, vanilla for me"
I made my way to the old man who was selling ice-cream on the side way of the road near some huge fast-food restaurant, I walked till I bumped into someone, clumsy me "I'm so sorry ughh!"
"its alright its alright just watch where you're going next time"
It was a guy, blonde hair, beautiful brown skin and about the same height as me
"got that!" we both stood in the ice-creams queue and he just kept looking at me then smiling, that is so creepy
" I'm Craig by the way"
" Ashleigh, nice to meet you"
" nice to meet you too" he said
"do you live around here? You look very familiar" I can tell he was just trying to start a conversation with me, which kind of took me by surprise cause he looks like the quiet type
" really? Uhm no I don't live here"
" no I'm just kidding you actually look new"
"oh thanks"
"nn-not in a bad way"
"uhm I have to go so I guess I'll see you around" I said
"uh sorry what?" he asked and I had to repeat my statement, "but you owe me, remember how you bumped into me and almost broke my face?"
" you're not serious are you?"
"actually I am"
"babe everyone's waiting for you inside" a female voice said, she got closer to us and stood opposite of Craig "oh hey baby, I was just talking to Ashleigh here" it got silent for a second, which felt like a year "uhm Ashleigh this is Tash, my girlfriend and babe this is Ashleigh" Craig broke the silence "oh hi" she greeted, she looked rather uninterested at this moment "can we go now babe?" oh she's so nice "oh yeah! Nice meeting you Ash, hope to see you again"
"you too, goodbye"
I made my way back to Mrs Wilson, looking around, attentively, like a long lost child " Here you go, vanilla for you"
"thank you.. took forever uh"
"oh I'm sorry the old man's service is really bad, plus I got caught up" I sat opposite of her as I licked my ice-cream "mhm this is good"
