They heard a explosion. "What was that?"
"No time to ask questions we have to run away."
"Your right, but we're too late."
*Pulls out weapon* "Looks like we're joining the games."

-----Chapter 2: starting the games-----

Hope's pov

I saw a white light and it sucked is into a giant ship like thing. We must've been riding for at least half an hour before we were deposited into the ground! We were dropped in a giant house! We kinda looked silly because everyone was enjoying them selves while we dropped in. We were in fighting stance. Then a girl with dark blue hair came. "Are you the Warriors of the shadows?" Our leader aka Zander answered with "Yes, we are. Warriors you may stand down." We all stand down and follow Zander to a private room. "Zander does Yuri know what the games are?" "No, I do not believe so." "Yuri, do you?" She replied with a no. Zander then tells story that we have heard many time.

----The beginning of the games----

The games started because of the government and it's pretty old, as it's been going on for 20 years
The government started it because they needed a way to punish the school kids for not appreciating their learning and acting out and what not. Since some of the teachers were super twisted, they brought the idea to the government and since the government was dealing with population control, they figured it would help. Kiko's parents competed in these games. They weren't supposed to say anything, but anyone that knows would have to compete in the games. So now we are stuck with playing.

3rd person pov

Cole: "So do you have any healing knowledge, Yuri?"

Yuri: "I don't."

Faith: "Crap, so we have no healer now."

Hope: "Thanks for pointing out the obvious!"

Zander: "Well we need to leave to the confirmation station so they can teach us. Hopefully Yuri learned quickly.

Hope: "Or maybe she's a useless cow.. OR WAIT A SPY!!!!"

Hope pulls out her katanas' and puts it to Yuri's throat.

Zander: "Stand down Hope."

Faith: "Regular humans are way too dumb to come up with that."

Yuri: " I'm nervous for my life."

Cole: "And this is why I wonder how Hope isn't a assassin."

Hope: "Because I slay with a purpose. But fine *puts katanas away* I'm watching you."

Yuri: "Oy, What have I gotten myself into."

Zander: "We leave NOW."

Hope: "Ok."

Hope and Zander go into a room for a private meeting because they are the two leaders of the group.

Zander's pov (didn't see that did you)

We are going to going the games. Time ran out on us. We've had 2 years to train and are newest recruit never even heard of these games. Without a healer we are as good as dead. We are going to a meeting between the team leaders and the leaders of the game. But I'm in another room alone to talk to Hope.

"Kiko-chan are you alright, you've been on edge lately."

"Zander-kun I have not been. We could die soon and we have no healer. Just that faker."

"Kiko-chan will this make you better."

I then pin her to the wall. I kiss her and surprisingly she kisses back. I then hear the door open, but I don't care any more.

Cole's pov

I open the door to a horrible sight. I was going to confess to Hope because we could die and I rather have her know when we die then her never know. But looks like I have a opponent. Zander sees me and quickly pulls off of Hope. "Cole I-" "No just shut up." I feel like exploding. I walk up to Hope and kiss her. She is caught of guard. Then in unison Zander and I say "Kiko-chan will you be mine." Then I start a fight with him. Kiko will be mine.

Yuri: Knowing you this book had to have romance.
Kurarissa: Duh its meh specialty!
Yuri: Moving on...

3rd person pov

Faith and Yuri were talking, until they heard a loud thump. They go up to see Zander and Cole fighting. Kiko stands there in shock.

"Kiko~chan what happen?"

"I-they-um.." She continues to stutter and mumble.

"Faith we should stop this, because Hope is no help right now."

Yuri tries to pull them apart, but then Kiko pulls out her katana and puts it to her neck.

"Stop. I will deal with this."

She then yells at them to stop and they do.

Yuri: "How does she do it?"

Faith: "I don't know!?"

Kiko: "Stop, this behavior will not help, nor have our team survive."

Zander: "Gomen'nasi."

Cole: "Sorry."

Then Zander and Kiko leave for the meeting.
