The country girl and city boy

The new school

The sun rise above the green hills, leaving the scent of fresh dew on the grass, it was only five am but i head to go do my chores before school i have to go to a new school which sucks i don't want to i have a perfectly good reason not to as well you see this is the closest school to our new home and ranch even though were in the country its a city school that i have to go too!
" Sophia hun come down for breakfast!" My ma called i ran down stairs i was about to gobble it down when pa walked in "howdy Sophia !" Pa said "howdy pa what where ya'll doin outside ?!" " its ya first day of school so i did your chores for ya!"" Thanks pa but you didn't have too i an just fine being late! Ma why cant i just be home schooled i do t want to go to a city school!!" She sighed " honey it's easier this way now go get dressed before the bus arrives!"
" yes ma !"
I ran upstairs when i finished eating i grabbed my blue western shirt my boot cut jeans with the crosses on the back pocket then my blue design cowboy boots when i got everything on i put my hair in a ponytail and went downstairs ma and pa nodded with approval on my outfit i crabbed my bag and ran out there door then i got on the bus!

I got on and everyone stared at me i walked to the very back seat and plop down i dig in my bag and grab my mp3 i find the song i dint dance by lee brice and stare out the window that is until someone poked me i glance up at him i raise an eyebrow " your in my seat hill billy!" I glare at him "whats ya name?" I asked still glaring " Lucas!" He said i look around the seat then said " well Lucas i don't see a name tag with ya name on it so there for this seat ain't belonging to you!"  He looked shocked so dod everyone else " well it doesn't belong to you either !"
" ya but i didn't say it was mine i was here first and i didn't know so i ain't moving in till where at the school !" I turn around and look back out the window then i turn back around " hill billy ? That the best ya'll got my grandma comes up with better names then that city boy!" He gasped and so did everyone else. This is going to be a long day we reached the school i was the last one to get off i smiled at the bust driver and walked towards the building I thought was the office ! I was correct and got my schedule i find all my classes with ease the lunch bell finally rang i walked to the cafeteria WOAH its huge i get in line and get a hamburger i walk to a table that was empty i sat down and began to eat that is until a real bubbly girl sat down at me smiling " hi i am Cindy and i hope we can be friends because you seen like a really nice person and seem really lonely all by yourself!"
" hi Cindy i am Sophia and i am lonely i don't think anyone here likes me ! Well except you! And i would love to be ya friend!"we ate and talked when we went to dump the trays Lucas stood up and got in front of me "Lucas leave her be!"Cindy begged he shook his head Cindy begged some more Lucas raised his hand and slapped me i gasped " someone needs to put ya in ya'll place city boy!" "Or else what ?" I gritted my teeth he slapped me again thats it i dropped my tray so everyone that wasn't looking was now looking " shouldn't have done that city boy !" I said keeping eye contact and glaring i made a fist he didn't notice .i threw a punch at his nose i heard a snap meaning it was broken
He ran off crying with his gang the guys started clapping but the girls looked mad. I rolled my eyes picked my tray up and dumped it then went to the swings with Cindy " how come no teachers stop him?"
" they won't cause his parents are rich and were a poor school and if they stop him he'll have the parents sue the school!"
" that ain't right well come on Cindy lets get to class!" She nodded her head

The end of the day finally  came i sat next to Cindy on the bus but not on city boys "seat" all the girls were surrounding him giving him kisses trying to make him fill better . It was almost his stop he walked up the seats early " your punch failed i got more attention thank you!" He said to me i quickly replied " the only attention ya'll getting is from a horses butt that punch didn't fail your nose is broken isn't it ?!" He looked shock then got of the bus i heard girls whispering about me something like " who does she think she is?" " poor Lucas he has to put up with that idiot!" That last one made me mad i turned around and glared at them " excuse me i can hear ya'll talking smack about me and if i hear another mean comment about me ya'll end up just like your poor city boy" the gasped as i turned around Cindy got of then j got off  i walked home "ma?pa? I'm home from the worst school ever sorry i punched a guy and the chickens need some food so i am taking the truck to grab some chicken food do ya'll need anything ?" " howdy hun you punched a boy thats my girl grab some pig food while ya'll at it please !" My pa yelled "alright pa ill be back in a little while !" I grabbed the trucks keys and drove into town.

I reached town and parked in the tractor supply parking lit i walked in grabbed a big cart and went to the feed area great i saw Lucas kissing a girl gross i thought i found the pig food and picked it up threw it over my shoulder and then on the cart i got two bags of big food and chicken food i was starting to walk out with the carr when i saw Lucas tongue down the girls throat i pulled my phone out and started playing a video of them kissing Cindy is going to hate you (Cindy and Lucas are dating)  " get a room you two oh and Lucas don't ya have a girlfriend ?"  He looked at me and rolled his eyes he started kissing that girl i quickly called a facetime with cindy she awnsered i put my finger to my lips and made the camera focus on lucas and that other girl " LUCAS YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!!!!!" I replied that girls eyes wodened at Lucas she smacked him "no baby she's lying !"
" she is not Lucas!!!!" Cindy blurted he stared at me in horror Cindy hung up " oops sorry city boy i. accidentally called her " i lied he narrowed his eyes at me " better luck next time bye bye!" I said pushing the cart out i payed for it then went to my truck i put my foot under the wheel so it cant roll away i put the bags in the back of the truck bad i put the cart back i got in the truck i saw lucas coming out of the store " better luck next time city boy!" I called out and drove off .

I reached home unloaded the feed and walked into the house we ate supper and then i took a shower then went to bed hopefully Lucas wont try to kill me tomorrow i thought as i drifted into sleep.
