The ice skating rink

A couple of months passed of school I have had more problems with Lucas lets just say I hit him with a broom a couple times any who yesterday I found out the school had an ice skating rink!! I was so happy I haven't mentioned it before but I ice skate in the winter when our fishing pond freezes. I mean they have a rink year round they even open it to the public! So even when school is over I can go skate which I'm really excited about! So today I plan on ice skating in PE . The PE coach lets us do what ever so i will go ice skating but I have to wait till my last class for that so I packed my ice skates and my really pretty teal ice skating dress with diamonds in the center .

I was at school in fourth hour lunch bell finally rang and I ran to the cafeteria I sat down Jacob and Cindy where already there siting next to each other holding hands (there dating now)
" what are you guys doing today for PE ?!" Cindy asked
"Probably basketball!"Jacob said
" I am going to check out Tha ice skaten rink ya'll have !"I said
"Ohh you ice skate sorry Jacob I wanna go watch Sophia skate!!!"Cindy said
Jacob nodded and I giggled.

PE finally came I ran to the locker room and put on my skating dress and then my skates when I got to the bench I sat down and started tying the laces until I heard a laugh "look guys hill bully is going to try to skate and she will fall on her but!" Lucas said then his gang laughed I just ignored them when both skates where on I walked back to the locker room I took my hair out of the ponytail so now my hair was falling to my waist And put some foam in my bra then I walked back out ha he's in for a trick I glanced at Lucas his jaw dropped I walked past him and then said " close ya mouth sweetheart you might catch flies ."
I walked by the rink " who's the new girl?" Lucas asked still staring at me he is stupid to not realize it's me I rolled my eyes I turned around back to him " my name well sweetheart.....sweetheart my eyes are up here!" I said sassy he looked up to my eyes "Sophie" I said I turned around quickly make my hair brush against his face I walked onto the rink and started skating some circles to warm up I saw Cindy by the music box I sped skate to her and asked her to play humble and kind by Tim McGraw she nodded and turned it on I spun and jumped and twirled I had so much fun I gracefully danced when the song stopped I heard lots of clapping "some boy must have made a three pointer!" I mumbled but the clapping was to close I saw the whole class around the rink clapping I blushed even coach jasmine was smiling brightly she then skated to me she patted me on the back " well we have our girl but now we need a boy let me think .............. Lucas ?!?! You two would skate beautiful together! In the skating competition for our school!"
My smile faded no anyone but him
" would love to jasmine !" Lucas said I just stared
"Alright you two talk ten Lucas but your outfit on and we will have you skate together ! Now go on Sophie go talk to him for your next song!" Jasmine said as she pushed me towards Lucas I stayed in the rink and he stood in front of me the block was in between us thankfully "Sophia your amazing what song do you want to do ?"
I pretended to be embarrassed and stuttered "a a c c country s song"I stared down at my feet "ok I have just the one " he blurted out and then ran to the guys locker room he came back with jeans and a western shirt on and two cowboy hats he put the straw one on me and the black one on him " wait this dress does not go!" I said he thought do you have some jean shorts I shook my head "Mary!!!!!! Show Sophia the skating clothes and get her jean shorts and boot skates!"
"I have boot skates !"
"Then just get her Jean shorts!!!"
I walked with Mary she handed me Jean shorts I put them in they fit so then I put my boot skates on then the hat he gave me I went back to the rink we stood in the center of the rink then the song I don't dance came on I gasped "you don't like it?"
" like it love it ! This song is my favorite!"
He nodded we started skating when the songs over everyone clapped and then Mrs. Jasmine said its official were doing the competition together.

we got changed I kept my hair down and  then walked to Lucas " I have a secret I wanna tell ya !"
"Sure anything Sophia !"
"I.....I.......I am the girl you call hill bully !"I said has I pulled my hair back and tied it Lucas looked shocked "you .....you skate?"
"Well we just proved that didn't we?"
" I'm sorry for calling you hill billy!"
"Sorry for calling you city boy!"
"Can we start over ?"
" we can!"
"Ok ! Hi I am Lucas !"
"Howdy I'm Sophia !"
"Well Sophia i hope we can be friends!"
"Me too!"
We both chuckle Lucas even invited me to sit with him on the bus but I declined I sat by Cindy and Jacob as usual
"Omg Sophie I saw what happened between you and Lucas!!!!!Lophia !!"Cindy squealed
"Ya Sophie you guys get along now! You guys would be cute together "Jacob said" lophia really no and I don't do bully player city boys! We are just friends but I'm still beating the crap out of him if he bullies one of ya students !"
I said they both nodded

When Jacob and Lucas stop came , Lucas smiled and me and dropped a paper in my seat and I quickly handed him a note We acted causal about it so Cindy didn't notice . When we reached cindy's stop she smiled at me and left after I waved out of the window I opened the paper Lucas game me as I opened it I read

I giggled I pulled out my phone and typed in his contact the bus reached my stop I got off and began walking home.
My phone buzzed I took it out of my back pocket and read

Hey Sophia its me Lucas you won't believe what I found out~Lucas

That I have to spend to months of the summer at some freaks house :( ~ Lucas

That sucks do you know who's house ?~Sophia

Nope not one clue but dad said it was some house in the country! And that I'll have to .... Work ;)Lucas

Oh poor you I think you can handle it your a big boy :)~Sophia

Lol maybe I hope ok I'm a tell you a secret !~Lucas

Ok tell away ~Sophia

I'm happy I'll be in the country for two months ~Lucas

Did I just read that right I read it five times did city boy really say that?

Wow Lucas likes the country and is excited to work for two months hmm well now I've seen most everything
I finish walking home fed the cows and other critters then came back home kissed ma and pa goodnight and went up stairs I was about to fall asleep when Lucas popped up into my head. He really likes the country ....... My cowboy wait what did I just say I mean another country person in the school.
