Treat You Better (S.M)

Y/n POV:

I cannot belive what just happened. My boyfriend, Jordan of 2 years in bed with my best friend since diapers. Naked. When I found them there I was completely and utterly shocked. I didn't know what to do and I was so shocked I didn't even cry. Well that was until I got home of course.

Now I'm sitting here in my bed sulking, refusing to let anyone in. Mom and dad knocked multiple times to get me our. But I didn't. Even my brothers and sister tried. But nope. Nothing.

Then there was one more knock. "Y/n. Please open for me. It's Shawn." My head perked up. Shawn us my oldest brother, Luke's best friend. We've become close, and at some point I liked him. I mean can you really blame me? You've seen him right? And his voice is just amazing.

I got up and opened, but as soon as he got in, I locked it back up.
"Y/n, tell me what happened. What's wrong?" He asked genuinely. So I told him. I told him how I went over for our date because he was late, then how I walked in on them. And now I'm here.

I cried and cried and he just held me. "He's not worth any of your tears, y/n. If he doesn't see how amazing you are, then he shouldn't be worth your time." He finishes, kissing my forehead. I look up and we stare at each other for a while.

Then he does the unexpected. He starts to lean in. OH MY GOD!? Is this really happening? Is he going to kiss me? Do I want him to? Does he actually- ...

My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. "Sweetie, come on out. Someone is here to see you." My mom says don't he other side of the door.

I sigh. She just had to interrupt the most perfect moment. I look up at Shawn, who now has a blank expression on his face. Isigh once more and get up.

I ignored everyone's questions and stares as I walked into the living room. And my heart breaks into Millon's of pieces all over again. My eyes start to water.

"Babe, hey. Luke called and told me that your upset and won't come out tour room. What's wrong?" He says. Tears start flowing out my eyes uncontrollably and I slap him right across the face. Sending everyone into gasps.

"You know exactly 'what's wrong' you pig! I can't believe you!! How long has this been going on?! Huh?! How long!? And with my best friend! You two are complete trash! I hope you both are happy! Are you now? Did you finally get what you wanted? Why Jordan! Why?!" I finish with a sob. Now my brothers are in front of me. And Shawn comes down.

"What the fuxk are you doing here!?! Haven't you hurt her enough!? Leave! Now!" Shawn spits at him. But Jordan just stays put. "You know what!?!" Then shawn pounced. Jordan is much stronger than Shawn and he wouldn't be able to take him. In seconds Jordan is on Shawn punching him repeatedly.

"NO! SHAWN! Jordan stop!!!" I scream. I try to break it up, but my Luke throws me to my sister, Jesse. And breaks it up with my other brothers.

After they threw Jordan out I was released and ran to Shawn. I grab him and cry into his neck. Well try to, but he aggressively pulls me away and slams out the door.

Two days later...

Its been two days since I've seen Shawn. And I'm sadder than I was.

And now I am at the park with my brothers as they play basketball with their friends. They literally forced me out the house. I sigh and am about to go home, when someone calls my name. Then my parents, siblings, and some friends walked over to me. 'When did they all get here?' I thought. Then I saw Shawn running towards me with his guitar.

"Y/n. I know this is all so sudden, but please listen. I am deeply in love with you. I wanted to tell you this for so long but there was always complications. And with these recent events I wrote a song..."

*sings treat you better (in media)*

After he sung I was tear eyed. He put his guitar down and grabbed my hands. "You mean so much to me, y/n. And what that bastard did to you sent me out of fucking control. I just wanted to tell you my feelings. And I wanted to ask you something as well. Will you please be my one and only girlfriend? Please?" He says with full love in his eyes. I look at everyone and smile. I nod and he smiles brightly, grabs my waist and spins me around.

Then he pushed his lips to mine and it was the best thing I've ever felt.
