Think about afterthoughts and spill

                                                   Afterthought

Left hopelessly alone

Drifting mindlessly, ending up by a familiar gravestone.

With a frown upon her face

Her feet stuck to the ground, frozen in place.

Birds chirping, time passing

Day by day, the mind continuously harassing.

Forgotten, no unwanted

She's in my dreams, all which are haunted

In the mirror, the mirror with cracked edges

The girl inside, the girl staring back at me, she pledges

It's not forever

It's not for the good, nor for the better

Stick around and you will see

There is more to life, be carefree!

Pent up anger, pent up loneliness

Walking around, never feeling the coziness

Banished and unafraid

The flowers falling left where they once laid

Stuck to the ground

Withered and sun bound

With a frown upon their faces

Loved ones send their graces

Drifting mindlessly, ending up by a coffin with only bone

Their feet clap against the cobblestone

She's left hopelessly alone,

Banished and forgotten

All that's left are the obsolete roses in the flowerpot,

They becoming just a mere afterthought.
