*Stan's POV*
I'd waited too long to tell my family. Shelly was coming home from college for the weekend, so I'd tell everyone over dinner. If Shelly was there, my parents couldn't get too angry.
"Stan, you've barely touched your food," my mom said.
"That's not like you, Stan. Normally you're eating us out of house and home. What's up, son?" My dad asked.
"Uh...well...I have something to tell you," I said.
"Stan, before you talk, can I just say one thing? You're an idiot," Shelly said.
"Why am I an idiot?" I asked.
"I know what you're going to say. A lot of people know," Shelly said.
"Stan, what's going on?" My mom asked.
"Wendy's pregnant," I said, in a rushed, panicky voice. My mom was silent, and my dad dropped his fork.
"You knew about this?" My mom asked Shelly after a few seconds.
"Yeah, I knew. Everyone knows," Shelly said.
"Clearly, we're the last to find out," my dad said.
"Shelly, please leave," My mom said.
"I'm not done eating," she said.
"Randy. make her leave," My mom said, in a clipped tone.
"Sharon, she's not done eating," my dad said.
"SHELLY LEAVE!" my mom yelled. Shelly rolled her eyes and went upstairs.
"Stan, what happened?" My dad asked in a calm voice.
"STANLEY MARSH WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?" My mom yelled.
"Now, Sharon, that's not the way to deal with this," my dad said.
"Shut up, Randy. Stanley. I want you to tell me right now. Why the hell did you get her pregnant," my mom said, in a very low voice that was almost more frightening than the yelling.
"We were at Token's party. There was booze there...I know I'm not supposed to drink booze...but I couldn't be the only one not drinking. And all I remember is the next morning we woke up in one of Token's many rooms and we were both naked," I said. My mom cringed when I said naked.
"How long ago was this?" She asked.
"Wendy's three months pregnant," I said.
"So she's not getting an abortion," my mom said.
"No. She's not. She wants to raise the baby...with my help, of course,"I said.
"I think it's wonderful that you're going to help her do this, Stan," my dad said.
"Randy! It't not wonderful! This is a terrible thing, here, and you're supporting him!" my mom yelled.
"Sharon, of course I'm supporting our son. He shouldn't have had sex with Wendy, but he can't undo it, and he can't make her un-pregnant, so of course we have to support him now. He made a mistake. We have to help him through this," my dad said.
"You're right. I can't believe I'm saying it, but you're right Randy," my mom said.
"Can I come eat now?" Shelly yelled.
