Next morning:

"Where's Joey?" I thought to myself.

I looked at my phone to check the time,
11:23 am

"What the hELL !!!! I CANT BE TARDY ON THE FIRST DAY I HAVEN'T EVEN MET MY PROFESSORS YET"

-I opened my eyes and shot up from my bed in a cold sweat-

I looked at my phone
5:17 am

A bad dream.

I looked to my right to see Joey peacefully sleeping.

"I have about 3 more hours to sleep" I thought to myself.

I checked my phone to make sure I had an alarm set, (I do) and went back to sleep.

ALARM

7:45 a.m

I yawned and slowly got out of bed.

Should I wake up Joey? Not yet..

I went to the fridge to see if he had bought any food yet,

nope.

Joey's phone started ringing, who would call him this early?

"Hello..." his voice was very tired, and deep.

"Yes Amy, I'm awake..." Joey spoke gently into the phone.

who's Amy?

J: "Amy, can I call you back between classes or something Im getting breakfast. - bye, love you too"

Joey slowly started to get out of bed; staring at me in my oversized band tee and pink panties.

"Can I help you with something?" I laughed.

"Sorry I just, thought you would be wearing pants" he smirked.

"sorry" I blushed. "who was that you were talking to? If you don't mind me asking.."

"Amy?" he started, "Amy is my sister. She kind of took the place of my mom ever since she passed."

"oh, ok."

I jumped at the loud banging on the door: "hey guys, open up, I have breakfast." Billy.

I opened the door to see Billy and River both staring at me, basically drooling.

"well hello beautiful..." river said, looking me up and down, walking closer to me.

"woahhh River take it easy, bud." Joey got between us again.

"ummm.." I inched away, "I'll be right back"

I went to go throw on some sweatpants.

I came back to hear Joey talking to River quietly.

Bully saw me and quickly changed the subject, "HEY UMM, some friends of mine are having a frat party this Friday and I can bring whoever I want, you're all invited"

A frat party? sounds fun.

we all ate and discussed our classes for the week

"well," Billy said finishing his breakfast, "we better get going, we have a big day ahead of us."

And so, my college life officially began.
