I recently received a review about this story. Apparently, some of my points have not came across. I plan to go back into the chapters and edit them to make Sephora's personality clearer as well as some other situations. Until then, I'll post this explanation intermission chapter. I just have to grow as a writer to make my points more clear to my audience.

You can read all of this or skip to the bottom of the page to the short review and just read that. Thank you.

I. I feel like this story is about Sephora more than Harry. I plan to get to the point where Sephora's past becomes something that readers long for.  This is a fanfiction and Harry is a main character, but more so a secondary character. Without Sephora there would be no story. Harry is important, but I am trying to make this Sephora's story.

II. If you have read chapter 8, you will know that Sephora is from the south. Right now, she is in Seattle because that is where the head of her label is. When I rewrite chapter one, I will try to make it more clear that Sephora does not  want to be in Seattle and she does not want to be signed to a label. I remember mentioning that Sephora wanted to become famous as a well know independent artist. There aren't many actual independent artists today that have Grammy's and huge Billboard hits. Sephora wants to do that.  Later on I will get in to why Sephora is somewhere she does not want to be. There is a reason Sephora and her manager are always being petty towards each other. There is a reason that out of all the other little known artists there they picked Sephora.

I cannot stress how much Sephora wanted to become well known on her own, so the reason she caved in and signed to a label is one of the major points of this story. Again, I believe this is Sephora's story with Harry as the side kick. Even so, I consider it fanfiction because he is one of the key components at this point, but he isn't the master key.

III. Sephora does not want to work with the famous Harry Styles because she feels the whole agreement makes her an even bigger sell out. She already sold out by signing to the label. They restrict the art she can put out and they stop her exposure she believes she could have gathered herself. That is why the main part of the contract is for her to improve Harry's "womanizing image" in turn for her contract with her label to be terminated. That is why she is doing it.  Even so, she does not take her anger out on Harry. She works with him and tries to be friends and learn to laugh and talk to him for both of their benefits. She still shows signs that she is not willing to open up completely.

All of the other things are technical such as dialogue, etc. Even the fact that my points about Sephora's attitude towards her label, her ambition, and all of the other points I just attempted to correct is my fault. I will do some major editing to improve my delivery, but not at this point. I want to go father and get more information about my character and her adventure that happens to involve Styles out the door first.

 Short review:

I. This is Seph's story. I chose to start it where she meets Harry but her past will come back and intermingle with her future.

II. She is somewhere she does not want to be signed to a label she never wanted to be at. The label restricts her and she longs to resume life as an independent artist. There is a reason for this. More will come.

III. She already feels like a sell out. Pretending to be someone's girlfriend to improve their image makes her feel like an even bigger sell out. She thinks the idea is stupid, but if it will terminate her contract with her record label, she will do it. It will give her exposure and when/if she resumes being independent she'll at least have a bit more exposure.

IV. It's my fault that I haven't conveyed these points well enough. Once again, they will be fixed in the future.

Thank you if you have read all of this. I hope this has cleared anything up you may have been confused about and that you now understand how Sephora feels in this story. Stick with me and this story, and I will try my hardest to do a better job so that each reader may be as in love with this story as I am.

Thank You.
