Erza's POV-
I flew threw the hallways, out to the courtyard, and to the palace garden.
A fairy with long hair the color of the sun was sitting in a field of flowers, which was the palace garden. She had milk chocolate eyes, her wings when from a light pink to light blue depending on the lighting. She was wearing a pink silk dress and a flower crown.
"Hello Lucy, I need some advice," I sat down next to her.
"Hey Erza, what did you want to talk about?" Lucy continued to tend to the miniature flowers.
The flowers in a fairy's kingdom are smaller than real ones. It is a fairy gardener's job to shrink normal flowers to create them, and tend to them.
"I need to do something for Simon, what do you think I should do?" I asked her.
She dropped what she was doing, "Simon, as in General Simon?" "Yeah, what about it?" It was kind of strange for Lucy to stop tending to flowers like that.
Especially since Lucy's mother died when she was young. It was one of the things that her mother loved, and it is special to her.
"So you like Simon?" Lucy questioned me. I felt the blood rush to my face, "W-what! No! I just want to repay him for a favor!" I reassured her. "So, what did he do to deserve a favor," Lucy turned so she was looking at me. "It's a long story." "I have time," Lucy replied.
"Well my father decided I need to get married, within three months," I said glumly. "Really? Do you want to get married?" Lucy asked. "No! It's completely against what I want to do, it's only because my mother is sick and I need to become the next fairy queen." "Still, that's no reason to force marriage," Lucy stated. "Well, to get my mind off of it, I went out of the kingdom...," I started. "Out of the kingdom! How, why, it's so dangerous. Especially for royalty," Lucy had shock painted across her face. "I do it all the time, it's not really that dangerous," I said leaving out the part about the human. "Continuing, I was upset and went to the forest anyway despite what I was told, Simon found me and told me the whole castle was worried about me, and that my dad was angry," I looked at Lucy, who was now looking at the sky thinking. "So he told me to go to my room, so he could calm my father down," I finished.
"Wow, that seems like a lot of trouble," Lucy paused, "I don't really know what Simon would like, you and him are closer." "Okay, thanks anyway," I replied. I guess she was right Simon and I are like brother and sister except..., except... we aren't.
"How is the forest?" Lucy asked me. "Beautiful, and barely any humans go through there so it's always safe and quiet. Oh and up the path there is this beautiful waterfall." "Really? Sounds... peaceful. I wonder what types of flowers grow there, I wish I could go. Tell me more, please."
I spent the rest of the day telling Lucy about it while she worked. So in the end, I still don't know what to get Simon, maybe new armor?
