Who Is For Me?

Chapter 36

There was a blue truck in the driveway; someone I've been trying to avoid. Johnathan saw that I was uncomfortable and angry, "Jamie if you want to stay in the car; I can go up and talk to him if you'd like."

"No, I need to face him myself." I waited until he parked the car and I got out.

Johnathan followed me being protective of me, but truthfully it just made me angrier. He was treating me like a little girl and I wasn't anymore I've been through a lot and I've grown from the small girl I was before. Caleb ran up to me, "Jamie! I've missed you so much!" He began to hug me and I stopped him right then. "What's wrong?"

"I know about how you've cheated. Do you remember what you called me!" I yelled in his face and he looked upset and about to cry.

"I know, and I feel awful I wish I never did any of that. I want you back I stopped everything with her. Ive sold the house so I wouldn't be near her anymore." A tear had fallen down his face and his eyes were red and puffy.  "I never meant to hurt you I was just so angry, I was furious that you liked Lucas, and I wanted to get pay back."

"To get pay back you broke me down to the worst I've ever been. It hurts to be cheated on and I don't want to get back together with you." His emotions broke he completely lost it.

He fell to the ground on his knees, wallowing in his tears. I have never seen him like this and I went down next to him. "Caleb." I said in a soft calm voice.

"Wh-what." His voice breaking.

"This doesn't mean we can't be friends." He nodded his head and put his head in his hands.

I gave him a hug and began rubbing his back. I don't know why I forgave him so easily after what he's done but the way he was always breaks me. Caleb looked up at me. "Well we ever be the same that we were before?"

"I can't say for sure but maybe we can." I gave him a small smile and he smiled a little back.

He hugged me back harder and then picked me up. "Caleb I'm in a dress!" I screeched while being spun around.

"I don't care, I love you." The words spun around my head just sitting there and I knew he felt like it wasn't the time to say them. "I mean as a friend of course."

That sentence reminded me of the time we were in his truck and he said he loved me and then said the same exact words. I felt the same exact feeling of uncomfortableness and insecurities. "Oh Caleb." I looked around and Jonathan wasn't around so I figured he probably went inside and would be mad at me. "You want to do something together?"

His face lite up! He looked at me up and down and then he smiled a wide smile. "You're casts are off!"

"Yeah I just got them off today!" I said cheekily.

"Does that mean we can go laser tagging!" I nodded laughing and he picked me up and began bringing me to his truck.

"Caleb wait." He stopped and gave me a go on look. "I need to change."

He groaned and brought me into the house. I noticed then that he had stubble on his face and his hair was messy again. His blue eyes were darker than normal and I was officially worried about him. He looked at me and I smiled telling him I wad okay. Jonathan was in his room with his door shut and I felt a little bad for what ive chosen yet again.

I walked into the room and dug through the box I left. I grabbed a pair of jeans and a T-shirt and made Caleb turn around while I put them on. "Jamie have I ever told you how amazing and beautiful you are?" I blushed and smiled.

"No need to be funny Caleb." I walked towards him and jumped on his back.
"Jamie!" He yelled catching me before I hit the ground.

He brought me back up and left his hands on my hips. I began to blush and breathe heavier. He leaned in closer and I wasn't sure if this is what I wanted yet but I only had a few seconds to decide. His lips landed on mine and my mind went blank I forgot what to do. I wrapped my hands around his neck and I knew what I wanted.
