Day 99 (Kayla's POV)

Day 99:

Kayla's POV

 "I always dreamt of finding you, someone, someone that would treat me like you did from day one. Someone that would see past these black clothes, someone that would see past everything everyone else said. Just someone. Someone that would be able to look at me, and not see the lines of black eyeliner that cover my eyes, but see right through them, and focus on the personality that my dark brown eyes hide. Someone that could want me enough, that they could dig in and find the true me. And from that day, you were that someone. You looked me up and down, and instead of giving me that hurtful look of despise or indifference, you smiled. And that was when I knew you were special. I knew you were different, I knew you were meant to be there at that moment. You gave me hope, you were my everything. Until it all came crashing down."

 "But Kayla-" He finally spoke up. As much as I wanted to say everything that was coming out of my mouth, I gave him the chance to continue.

2 seconds 

3 sec- 

"I was wrong Liam," I couldn't wait any longer, "You proved me wrong. I've been through situations like this before, disapointment, being let down. As soon as you let everything take over, you're not the guy I'm in love with anymore. And I'm fine with that, it's your decision. I just don't want a guy like that to be in my life. I'm not angry, I'm not upset. I'm glad that what we had was special, I'm glad that the real you gave me a chance. I'm glad for all the amazing moments we had together. We made the best of it, but now it's time to let go." I looked up at his bulgy red eyes, his expressions didn't affect me. I said that all as calmly as I usually am.

"I love you, Kayla" His eyes were locked on mine. 

I turned away, making my way to the door. Flashbacks of the perfect moments we spent together came rushing through my head. I shook the thoughts away, but as the door shut behind me the four words I sadly came to use on a daily basis slipped out of my mouth in a mumble.

"I love you too"
