(AN: This is a special chapter from Rowena's viewpoint, because it just felt right with the story flow.)

Rowena's POV

I woke up at 3 in the morning. I looked towards Raine's bed. He still wasn't there. That idiot. The classroom get really cold at night. I know he can't die, but still, he still feels the cold. I got up and walked towards the door when Altheda and Denica threw it open. "We have a problem." They told me together.

"Where's Raine? Weren't you with him?" They were hesitating. "What is it? Tell me!" I glared at them.

"Um.... well.... he is the problem...." Altheda whispered with a barely audible voice.

"What does that mean?" I was getting angry. I don't quite get it, but I don't care.

"He went berserk. He was fine then his eye, you know the red one, started hurting him, and then he said something really strange....." Denica was trying to avoid repeating his words. I looked at her. "He said he hated humans. And that we weren't human." She gestured to herself and Altheda.

I muttered something quietly. They asked me what I said so I spoke up. "That idiot! He is so stupid! Where is he?"

"Calm down.... Ro, it's raining. Inside." Denica snapped me out of it. Wait, raining...? I couldn't be sad could I? "I think I know how to find him."

"Well it has to be quick... We can't have anyone seeing him." They looked confused. "He has a wing, remember!?!?"

"Uh..... Have you looked in a mirror since you woke up?" Why would I do that? "Because you have one too, it looks totally different though. Like an angel's....." Altheda looked like she was ill just by saying the word. "I don't think I like it..... Rai.... he needs help...."

I don't know if I should offended or not, but that wasn't important. "Let's go get the others." Before I even finished my sentence Darrick sped in and a minute or so later Adrian ran in, looking tired.

"What the...... That's kind of cool.." Darrick was distracted by the wing.

"That may be true, but we shouldn't get distracted. So what's the emergency?" Adrian is very calm for a former football player.

After another explanation Darrick seemed frustrated. "That cat has too many problems! And he is always trying to deal with it on his own. We are his friends. We have to help him, even if we have to beat sanity into him."

"Sounds like a plan." Altheda said. "He never has much common sense has he?"

"Um... Theda, why do you seem so scary?" Adrian was right, she looked terrifying. She was smiling, but it didn't reach her eyes.

"Do I?" I shivered. Partially because the rain made me cold. "Sorry." She was back to herself.

"Let's find a stupid cat and do what we do best." I said that, however I was scared. "Uh... Anyone know how to find him?"

"I can help." The person I least expected to walk through the door came in. "He is my brother after all."

All five of us were clearly tempted to attack him. "Wait.... you actually want to help.... Why?" Denica read his mind.

"I have my reasons. I have things to talk about with my twin." He was so kind when I first met him. Yet now, I can see nothing but hatred in his eyes.

"So how will you find him?" Adrian voice showed his suspicion.

"I'm his brother, I always know where he is. Like right now he is walking towards the dorms filled with normal humans. He is almost there. You better hurry, before he kills again. He already has so much blood on his hands. We don't want him to have any more, do you?"

"Darrick. Run over there and wait for us. Denica do your floating thing and follow him. Altheda, Adrian, Tyler and I will catch up. Do your best to stall him. And Tyler, you stay hidden until we calm him down. We don't want to wake up with the knowledge he killed his brother." Everyone listened to my strategy. The four of us left ran as fast as we possibly could. Tyler watch from out of sight.

"Hey Catboy, what's wrong with you this time? Is it something you ate?" Why is that delinquent so stupid?

"Idiot, move or I will kill you for the crimes of your people." Raine didn't acknowledge him as a friend.

"My people? You mean delinquents, or idiots?" He admitted to being stupid, but now isn't the time for that.

Raine laughed, but it wasn't the laugh I'm used to. The one that makes me want to laugh with him, even if we were arguing. This was sinister. This wasn't the boy I lo.... what am I thinking? I need to help him.

"Rai!" It was the first time I called him that, but it felt right. "Idiot, what's wrong with you? This isn't you."

"What makes you think so? How well do you really know me?" He is so stupid.

"I'm your roommate. I know a lot. I know that you're afraid of crowds, because you fear how people will think if they find out about your power. I know that Denica and Altheda are practically your sisters. I know that we are the first friends you've made. I know that you have nightmares every night. And I know that you don't want to kill anyone else."

"What's wrong with killing? Aren't humans dying anyway? So why does it matter if the process is sped up?" I could tell by the way he asked that he honestly didn't know why.

"Rai.... It's wrong because they still have a life to live. Things they want to do. The real you would understand this." I don't know what's wrong with him.

"They're lucky. They get live normal lives. They don't have to worry about watching their friends grow old and die, while they live on."

He's so broken.... "Rai, you better snap out of it! Rai.... I.... I love you. So cut this out okay?"
