Is It Just a Dream?

Chapter 1

"Hurry up mom! We will miss our flight!"

"Clam down Mia! We have time! The meet and greet is tomorrow!"

My mom and rushed to our gate. I had just won a trip to meet my favorite band, Forever In Your Mind. They are literally perfect and I am mad in love with them, since I lead my eyes on them.

Boarding started and my mom and I boarded taking our seats out to Arizona. I texted my best friend Adriana and shut off my phone. It was also gonna be the first time we will meet in person. I put my phone away and pulled out my book. I read for awhile and fell asleep.

I woke up to my mom telling me we were about to land. I turned my head slowly towards the window and opened it. The bright yellow-white sun shined into the plane blinding me. My eyes watered and I quickly shut the window, as the pilot announced that we would be landing in ten minutes. I rolled my head back and relaxed.

After the plane landed, we got out luggage and headed for the hotel. It was the same hotel that Emery, Jon, Ricky and Joey were in. We checked into the modern hotel and found our room.

Just than a knock came at the door. I opened it to find Emery with one hand on the door frame looking out into the hallway. I stopped and just watched him breath for a minute.

"Oh my GOD." I said as my mouth dropped open.

"Oh, hey sorry! I am Emery, and you must be???" He replied standing up straight and giving his hand out to me.

"I-I am Mia, the contest winner." I answered, closing my mouth and giving him his hand. He laughed and smiled his cheeky, perfect smile.

"Joby our manager told me to come over and invite you to come to our room... So, umm... Wanna come?"

Wait did he just oh my god he did!!! Play it cool I told myself, breath, stay calm! Remember you have a chance!

"Umm... Sure! Let me just tell my mom." I smiled back and yelled back telling my mom. She just waved and said "Have sweetheart! Don't stay out to late! Love you!" I waved back and grabbed my phone.

After I closed my door he stopped and hugged me tight. After he draped his arm over my shoulder. He looked at him phone as to text someone. But I couldn't see who. I just turned my head smiling and looked at my phone. I texted Adrianna:

Text from Me- "OMG you wouldn't believe who I am with rn!"

Text from Adrianna- "WHOO!!! OMG TELL ME!"

Text from Me- "EMERY THOMAS KELLY!!! I gtg love ya!"

We got to the elevator and I put my phone in my back pocket. Thank god I am almost always dressed fashionably! I had my dark, blue skinny jeans, my army green wet seal button down, and my favorite pair of light blue sandals.

The elevator door opened and we walked in and Emery let go of me and hit the button.

"So, umm... Where are you from?" He asked as to break the tension.

"In the heart and center of Boston" I smiled. I was Boston Strong and proud. Plus April 15th was my brothers birthday, and the bombing happened on the day of his tenth birthday. It was emotional day but that doesn't matter right now. I was with THE EMERY THOMAS KELLY!

"And you are how old? I would probably say something about me but you are probably a huge fan and know almost everything!" He laughed and smiled looking down at him shoes as the elevator door opened.

"True! And by the way I am fourteen." I laughed and we walked out of the elevator.

We walked down the hall and stopped in front of the door. He pulled out his card and opened the door motioning me in.

"Ricky! Jon! Come here!" He said as the two stood up and looked at me questionably and Emery nodded. He must of texted them who I was. "Meet Mia! She's 14 and from Boston!" He winked at them and Jon and Ricky hugged me.

"Hi!" I waved awkwardly and hugged them back. Oh my god they are real!

"Umm... Can I get a picture?" I asked shyly.

"Yay! Of course!" Ricky replied in his deep yet adorable voice.

I gave Joey, (Jon's younger brother) my phone. Jon came towards me to my left and wrapped his arm around my waist. Ricky next to Jon and Emery on the other side with his arm once again around my neck. Joey snapped a few pics and we changed our positions. Jon unwrapped his arm and moved to my other side and kissed me between my ear and and eye. Ricky came to Jon's old spot and hugged me tight. As for Emery, he came next to Ricky and hugged Ricky and I. Once again Joey snapped a picture and we broke from the position. Joey went to give me my phone back when Jon barged through taking it way from me. Shocked I smiled and looked at Ricky. He was looking at me with amazement. I wondered why but didn't say anything.

"Come sit down beautiful!" Ricky said looking me in the eyes with his dark green, emerald eyes. He put his arm on my back and showed me towards the sitting area. Emery, Joey, and Jon followed us. We sat down, Emery in the single person chair, Joey in the other single person chair, Ricky on the floor, and Jon and I on the love seat.

"So... Mia... You do any sports or sing?" Jon asked me in his awkward state of voice rubbing his hands together as to warm them up.

"Just some soccer." I told them.

"We'll have to play together some time!" Ricky said as him got up, "Water anyone?" We all nodded and talked some more.

After awhile I leaned back into the black leather love seat and Jon did the same. It amazed me how cool and calm they were. But I also noticed these glance between Ricky, Jon, and Emery. I ignored it. It was probably nothing.

"Well you obviously like our voices, Mia. So which song should we sing for you?" Ricky asked after awhile. "Pick a group and a different song for each of us to sing to you solo!"

I thought about it for a minute. It was gonna be tough but I soon figured it out. "Group- What Makes You Beautiful, Emery- Say Your Just A Friend, Ricky- A Team, Jon- Little Things." I looked at Joey as to ask for approval... I don't know why I did that, but that didn't matter they were about to sing to me!!!

"Hey baby you! You got what I need if you say your just a friend...." Emery went on sing in his outstanding, amazing voice. Pure magic!

When he finished the boys agreed to do the group one next.

"You're insecure, don't know what for you're turning heads when you walk through the door, don't need makeup to cover up, being the way that you are is enough..." They continued to sing as though to have practiced a zillion times.

It was perfect, in every way. They finished, I clapped, smiling like I had just won a million dollars. The boys are truly incredible!

"Hey, Mia!" Jon said after I finished clapping, "I umm... Just wanna tell you something..." He sounded nervous but I looked into his strong and vibrant, light blue eyes.

"Your hand fits in mine like it's made just for me, but bare this in mind it was meant to be..." He continued as he took my hand and looked straight into my poop, brown eyes.

After he finished he said, "I know what I am about to say might sound really strange to you but... Umm.. See a few months back, I followed you on Instagram. Ever since then, I have had this umm... Crush on you and see, Emery and Ricky have kind of joined me on it but they agreed that I have dibs and umm.. I really like you and I have never asked a girl out before and so I don't know if I am any good to be your boyfriend but umm... Wanna go out?"

I just watched as he looked into my eyes. I wasn't sure what to say. I mean I have been waiting for this moment my whole life and it's final here! I was freaking out! But I choose to play it really cool. So I just smiled and hugged him "Of course!" I said!

Just than Ricky started to sing A-team. God could this night get any better! But just as Ricky finished his amazing job singing, my phone beeped. My mom. Sh*t I had forgotten all about the time!

"I gotta go guys! I love you! Goodnight! See you tomorrow!" I said as I rushed out the door hugging them.
