It was Nico's birthday.
Sally had suggested throwing a party for their camp and school friends but Nico being the shy boy he is, politely declined.Instead,he and Percy were going to spend the whole day together.
It was 8:30 in the morning. Nico's face was snuggled in the crook of Percy's neck.Percy had his strong arms wrapped around his boyfriend, in a protective manner. He was already awake but didn't get up cause he knew that in the process he would wake up Nico.
The son of Hades nuzzled his head further into Percy's neck; Percy slightly giggled at the tickling sensation.''Wakey wakey,babe!'' Nico opened one eye and stuck out his tongue at the son of Poseidon. Percy rolled them over so that now Nico was at the bottom(with a Hades-like glare) , with Percy sitting on top of him. He started tickling him. Soon,the prince of the Underworld was a laughing mess. ''Lemme go Perce!'' Percy who was laughing like a crazy demigod,flopped down on the bed beside him.He turned his head to get a better view of Nico; ''Happy birthday Neeks!!'',he smiled at his boyfriend of four years. ''Thank you, babe. I can't believe I'm 93 years old! OR, 16 as you would say.'' Percy rolled his eyes at him.''I like 16 better Nic!'' Nico smiled and pressed his soft lips to Percy's.
And then Percy remembered that he had to get something done for his beautiful boyfriend. And he slightly paled at the thought.
