They were in their favorite restaurant ,seated at their preferred spot. It was cheap but the food and staff was excellent. They both always sat under the starry sky of NYC , up in the two -storey restaurant. Nico was laughing at a joke Percy had told him. As he continued laughing, Percy stared at his boyfriend with fondness.
Nico noticed this and asked him with a slight smile,''Babe,why are you looking at me like that?''
''Nothing much Neeks. Just that you have an angelic laugh and such beautiful eyes.''
He smiled and pecked Percy's lips.
''Your eyes are the most beautiful Perce, but thanks anyway. By the way, got a gift for me?'', Nico joked.
Percy nodded enthusiastically. ''Yep babe!'' He pulled up his left-hand jacket sleeve. Nico stared at Percy's wrist.
''Baby, is that a tattoo?'' Percy nodded.
Nico took his wrist gently and saw what was written. He smiled and looked up at Percy.
''Perce, this is the best birthday gift ever. I love you so much.''
Percy took Nico's hand and kissed them.'' I love you too,babe and want you to be a part of me. Forever and always.''
They both were hugging when Nico suddenly pulled back, with twinkling eyes.'' Come on Percy!'' He got up,payed the bill and started walking out of the restaurant, pulling Percy along.
''But where are we going?'', he asked,confused.
''What do you think you're doing Neeks?!'', he said as they came to a halt in front of the same tattoo parlor he had come earlier.
''Getting inked for you.'', Nico replied,smiling.
